Overall great experience. Lots of troubleshooting time saved throughout the semester, and students seem to like the browser based platform. Biggest thing it lacks IMO is ability for multiple users to edit a single rmarkdown file at the same time (virtual office hours).
Zotero with the ZotFile plugin to send/retrieve pdfs from iPad works well for me. Preserves markups and notes as well, which is nice.
