🇦🇷 🚨 ARGENTINA: 1.2GB DATABASE OF VEHICLES AND THEIR OWNERS ALLEGEDLY LEAKED
A threat actor using the alias "skyling" has published on a dark web forum what they claim is a 1.2GB SQL database of Argentine vehicle registration records, linked to the vehicles' owners.
The actor alleges the data includes:
* License plates, makes, models and versions
* Owners' full names
* DNI national ID numbers and CUIT/CUIL tax IDs
* Residential addresses (street, number, locality)
Samples were shared as evidence. The source system has not been identified and none of this has been independently verified.
⚠️ Analyst Note:
Plate-to-owner records combined with national ID and tax numbers and home addresses are a strong kit for identity fraud, vehicle-related scams and physical targeting. Unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of a breach.
