Muslim/Hindu conversion: change of name, language, dress,food, rituals etc, in fact a "tribe change" . M don't have enough musle power or else they wouldn't have allowed this. Christian conversion: Change of mind/heart, accepting the grace of God. No "change of tribe" involved.
