If people genuinely believe that Belly was faking her feelings for Jere, y'all realize that makes her an asshole right? Not even in a 'she's going through life changes' way but a malicious asshole because she was pressing Jeremiah about a relationship not the other way around-

everybody was cool. she and conrad made up. She and Jere made up. Nobody was pressing for romance with someone they allegedly didn't want except her. But somehow its still on jere that she went out of her way to supposedly lie to herself for 4 years for no good reason

it's getting ridiculous, yes people can change. I can believe that but, the knee-jerk reaction to sympathize with the racist and not "damn I feel bad for whoever was on the receiving end of their racist phase" is not normal and shows who they really see as the "wronged party"
