I have spent nearly a decade building in education, and have interacted with 1000s of students. One belief has only grown stronger: this is the generation that will transform India. They are confident, ambitious and not afraid to take the unconventional path. Proud to play our bit in shaping them. And a big update: 98.3% of our first batch of Newton School of Technology Pune students are doing an internship just after their 2nd year, 17 students are building startups of their own. Here’s what some of them are working on 👇 📡 Raman is analysing satellite-signal interference at VyomIC, which is building a private satellite-navigation constellation for India. 🧠 Birajit is building infrastructure for evaluating AI models at AfterQuery, YC’s fastest unicorn. 🕹️ Devendra built a system to control a drone from a web browser in just 20 days at Drona Aviation. 💻 Sanjana gave up a paid internship to become a committer on the open source Apache Grails project. India has seen this before. In 1963, parts of our first sounding rocket were carried to the launch site on a bicycle. Fifty years later, India launched a mission to Mars. Today, private Indian startups are building rockets of their own. It took generations of engineers willing to take on problems bigger than anything they’d attempted before. This generation has its own problems to take on: 🛰️ Can every phone in India navigate on Indian satellites? 🤖 Can India build its own frontier AI model? 🏭 Can we build our own TSMC? India needs to build. India needs tons of builders. What do you want to see young Indians build?

Unpopular advice for anyone who wants a career in space: Don't start with rocket science. Start with maths, physics and code. Then build one serious project. A must read interview of our Math Lead Gurpreet Singh, who spent 7 years on NavIC at @isro : hindustantimes.com/education…

India’s next chapter will be built by entrepreneurs. Glad to join CM @gupta_rekha and @ashishsood_bjp at a Delhi Government roundtable proactively seeking founder input on policy. Brought an on-ground perspective alongside fellow founders shaping India’s startup ecosystem.

About five reactors on earth are chasing net gain fusion by 2030. One of them is being built in Bengaluru. By 12 people. Thrilled to be in the room and watch the tokamak fire. The ambition of Indians is unbounded. More power to you @PranosFusion @Shauryapranos 🇮🇳

This is the belief we want to instil in every @nst_edu student. The world’s hardest problems are ours to solve too.

This Independence Day 🇮🇳, I asked, "What will the next century of young Indians look like?" $0.01 Drone Deliveries. UAVs that never land. Groceries in under 10 minutes. Meet The 22nd Century Indian. A Documentary on a New India.

Today we're launching Arbr. Every team building with AI right now is quietly giving up control. Over which models they run. Over their data. Over what happens when a provider changes a price, deprecates a model, or ships an update that breaks production. Arbr is about taking that back. We're calling it what it is: independence. Independence from model lock-in. Route every call across any provider. Switch models without rewriting your stack. Independence from vendor lock-in. Self-hosted, MIT licensed. Runs on your own infra, not a SaaS you rent. Independence from model churn. New models ship every week. Shadow test and adopt them safely, on your terms, without betting production on a version bump. Independence from flying blind. See every call. Score quality on live traffic. Turn what you learn into training data you own. Arbr is the open control plane for AI workloads. Route, govern, observe, evaluate, capture, deploy. All self-hosted, all open source. The closed stack was never going to give you independence. So we built the open one. This is year one. Go try it, star it if it resonates, and tell us what breaks. LINK IN THE FIRST COMMENT.

Seeing all the deep tech startups dropping amazing launches on Independence day is surreal and unbelievable just a couple of years back. More power to all of them 🇮🇳 Hoping to see @nst_edu students building many deep tech startups in the years to come Happy Independence Day 🇮🇳

Thank that our @nhlhomer @OpenAI team for an exciting conversation. Thank you for organising such a phenomenal event and giving me the opportunity @nst_edu @Siddharth @nishantXchandra @tanmay_pandya
What makes an AI company defensible as frontier models become widely accessible? At FutureLab by @nst_edu in Bengaluru, @nhlhomer of @OpenAI and @pratikpoddar of @NexusVP joined founders, technology leaders and NST students to explore what makes AI products endure.

Speed is the headline, selection is the actual unlock. Q-Com changed my food consumption patterns to completely healthy brands - I was earlier eating what the stores had, Q-Com enabled choice at unprecedented levels. Similar effects will be seen here.
Remind me again who needs construction materials in 60 minutes? Hold my plywood...

3. When competition gets irrational, don't panic. Sunil Mittal openly acknowledged Reliance's aggression and argued that sometimes the best strategy is to keep your head down, execute relentlessly, and wait for the market to normalize.

The winning strategy: relentless customer focus + obsessive cost discipline. Fun fact: British Telecom once owned a 25% stake in Airtel. Today, Airtel is exploring acquiring British Telecom. A full circle moment.

Congratulations, this is HUGE and inspirational 🚀🇮🇳
ORBIT ACHIEVED. 🚀 Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 has reached orbit. India's first privately developed orbital rocket has completed its final burn and injected its payloads into a ~450 km orbit, making India the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability. History is made. 🇮🇳 #Vikram1 #JourneyToOrbit #SkyrootAerospace
