Picture a world where everyone kept the Ten Commandments. Less a cage, more a place worth living. @MatthewTingblad's full video on why God's commands are given for our good is on our on our YouTube channel #sightline

We didn't lose trust in authority. We just relocated it. More suspicious of it than any generation before us, and shaped by more voices than any generation before us. Same time. So the question isn't whether you answer to anyone. It's who you handed the final word to. #trust #authority #sightline #SeeJesusClearly

Changing your mind feels impossible once you have taken a side. If your goodness depends on the position, you cannot drop it. If your belonging depends on the group, you have to keep proving you fit. So we defend the opinion instead of following the truth. There is a steadier place to stand. Full video with @AustinFruits: youtu.be/iWwP0ocKJEk?si=BfQC…

Disagreement did not used to feel this personal. Somewhere our opinions stopped being ideas and became proof of who we are. So a challenge to the view lands like an attack on the person. New from Austin Fruits on why it happens, and a way through: sightlineministry.org/why-di…

He didn't just teach what real authority looks like. He went to the cross and proved it. Jesus came not to be served but to serve. That's not the authority that failed you. It's the one worth trusting. Full conversation: seejesus.today/clarity #faithandculture #sightline

The internet says Christians cannot agree on anything. So someone read the official belief statements of 30 of the largest denominations: Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox. The finding: near-unanimous agreement on the essentials. The shared core is bigger than the noise. Full video with @sightlineministry on YT. #christianunity #sightline

Thousands of denominations, so the church must be hopelessly divided. Right? Not really. Many never split over theology at all. Counting division by counting denominations is like counting the world's foods by counting its restaurants. Related, but not that related. youtu.be/U2yImIJm7yw?si=aQ8-…

Questioning authority isn't automatically rebellion. Sometimes leaders abuse power. Sometimes institutions protect themselves. Naming that honestly isn't cynicism. It's where trusting the right things again actually starts. Full conversation: youtu.be/nm95fa0_eVY?si=CK3s…

Gen Z didn't lose trust in authority. They relocated it. Distrust the pastor, trust the podcaster. Question the expert, believe the feed. The trust never left. It just moved. New episode on who actually gets the final word: youtu.be/nm95fa0_eVY

"God is a cosmic killjoy." A lot of us have felt some version of that. Under the frustration with the rules sits a bigger question we skip: not whether we like them, but whether they're true. A calm look at that: sightlineministry.org/is-god… #sightline

Ever check your phone for a quick task and end up scrolling mindlessly for 30 minutes? We often turn to our screens looking for relief from the heavy pressures and expectations of life. But what we are actually searching for is peace. When we look to a device for peace, we expect it to do what only God can do—turning it into an idol. Peace is part of God’s very nature. When we see Him as the God of peace, we can stop turning to our devices and find the true rest we were created for. Are you caught in the Performance Trap? The equation says: Value = Performance + Opinions of Others When you measure your worth by what you do instead of who you are, you trap yourself in endless comparison. Can you actually trust the Gospels as real history? 3 reasons historians take them seriously: Intent: They named real places, leaders, and dates—not myths. Memory: Oral culture trained them to retain details with precision. Honesty: They kept embarrassing mistakes that liars would erase. #FaithandReason #Apologetics #Christianity

The modern world says freedom means zero restraint. No limits on choices, identity, or morality. But a fish "freed" from water doesn't thrive; it dies. Water isn't its prison; it's the very condition for its life. True freedom isn't just freedom FROM control; it's freedom FOR the purpose we were created to live. 🎥 Watch:

A group of people meeting under an empire to decide "the truth" feels like a major red flag. 🚩 But what if early church councils weren't top-down decrees, but the ultimate open debates? Here is why 2,000 years of church history actually protects your critical thinking: 1. These councils weren't rubber-stamp committees. They brought together passionate believers from entirely different regions to vigorously debate and pressure-test their ideas against Scripture. 2. This isn't a post-biblical invention. Collaborative debate is thoroughly biblical. In Acts 15, leaders like Peter, Paul, and Barnabas had to gather, argue, and figure things out together. 3. They aren't the ultimate authority. Because these leaders were fallible, their words are not Scripture. The Bible remains the ultimate check and balance for all of their conclusions. You don't have to trust human institutions blindly. But relying on 2,000 years of hard-fought theological debate doesn't mean losing your critical thinking—it just means you don't have to reinvent the wheel. #deconstruction #theology #apologetics
