Thank you @ERACoalition for your work to advance the Equal Rights Amendment. Every American should be equal under the law – and the ERA should be in the Constitution today.
It’s an honor to receive the Equal Rights Champion Award as we fight for women’s rights together.

ICYMI, @amprog Update on the Equal Rights Amendment. "Regardless of the path that finalization of the ERA ultimately takes, there is a critical need to enshrine gender equality in the U.S. Constitution and adopt the ERA as the 28th Amendment."

We’re making the rounds in upstate #NewYork from urban to rural, homes to diners, having discussions on #LaborDay and throughout the week about the importance of gender equality being memorialized in our U.S. Constitution. Did you know we are the only democracy not to have constitutionalized equality!?!? It’s insane. Please sign your support for #ERANow at 👉sign4era.org just like Gwen and John who are also the first to sign our ERA Van! See you on the campaign trail…ALL ABOARD‼️

Once finalized, the ERA will finally place the words “sex” and “equality” directly into the U.S. Constitution.

Women’s Equality Day commemorates the Nineteenth Amendment being adopted in the 1920s - when women were given the right to vote in the United States.
Things have come a long way since then, but equality should mean more than the right to vote. Without constitutional equality, women are not equal.
The absence of explicit constitutional protection for women leaves them vulnerable to a myriad of abuses.

Today, we celebrate Women's Equality Day, marking 104 years since the 19th Amendment secured women's suffrage.
There's no better way to honor the women who fought for the vote than certifying the Equal Rights Amendment and guaranteeing constitutional equality for all Americans.

Monday is Women’s INequality day. Here’s the White House Proclamation from @JoeBiden & @KamalaHarris:
We are making tremendous progress, but more must be done to ensure equal rights and opportunity for women and girls. I urge the Congress to recognize the ratification of the #EqualRightsAmendment and affirm the fundamental truth that all Americans should have equal rights and protections under the law. This Women’s Equality Day, let us recommit to building a country and a world where our daughters have the same opportunities as our sons. Because when women thrive, we all thrive.
