Our acute research delivery team @SalfordCO_NHS are proud to be contributing to research to support #OrganDonation. @SigneTstudy is finding out whether giving organ donors a single dose of a type of statin is helpful for the people who will receive the organ #OrganDonationWeek

On Day 2 of @NHSBT Organ Donation Week, we focus on the research of SIGNET, Statins for Improving orGaN outcome in Transplantation. The world’s biggest donor intervention study has so far involved almost 800 donors & aims at 2,600.
