David Clough supported Rochdale his whole life, home and away. When he died in 2020, he left the club a large sum of money in his will.
Now there's a statue of him in the exact spot where he sat for home games. He's still got his seat, and that's how it should be ❤️

Following the passing of Storm Boelo over the weekend, the National League has been advised that there was significant damage caused to Southport’s stadium, including damage to panels on the side of the main stand, advertising hoardings, and a marquee in the ground which has been ripped from its stand.
Given the extent of the damage, the limited timeframe to fully implement repairs ahead of tomorrow’s game against Macclesfield, and forecast over the next 24 hours, the National League has determined that the match will be postponed in the interest of safety for all parties concerned.

Unconfirmed but multiple reports coming in that a Wetherspoons have declined entry to anyone wearing a poppy today in Gosport whilst the protest is happening.
Unsure if true at this stage and awaiting info. I can’t imagine Tim Martin being supportive of this stance as he’s a proud patriot himself.

The best goal of the weekend that won’t count?!?
Barrow scored in the opening seconds against Forest Green.
Sadly the game was called off 14 minutes later due to a waterlogged pitch.
