In our latest #paper we used #PhysicsInformed #neuralnetworks (#PINNs) to perform #RANS #simulations without any assumption about the #closuremodel. We obtain stunning results in #complex #TurbulentFlows with #PressureGradient and #Separation ! arxiv.org/abs/2107.10711

Have a look at our short lecture on #AI and #urban #pollution , part of a chapter for #SpringerNature With: @berilsirmacek , @PabloTG98 and Sergio Hoyas youtube.com/watch?v=qZiphexZ…
Have a look at our entry in the APS DFD Gallery of fluid motion! High-fidelity simulations to understand the effect of flow control in turbulent wings. With @pschlatt1 and many more at @KTHuniversity
#apsdfd2020 may technically be over, but you can still enjoy the Gallery of Fluid Motion online! Here’s a gorgeous simulation of the effect of active flow control (via suction) to improve airfoil performance from @KTHuniversity #AvGeek #apsdfd 🎥 gfm.aps.org/meetings/dfd-202…

In our latest article, Wim Naudé and I discuss seven lessons from the pandemic on data-driven decision making and development. Trust, equality, context, and political leadership are as important, if not more, than technology. Available from @UNUWIDER: wider.unu.edu/publication/da…
