Synopsis: After four days, the current witness, Constable Saunder of the SAPS who was leading the video evidence of everything that happened in Florida Road, has finally concluded his testimony.
The defence, lawyers for the accused, have cross-examined him in this regard. Surprisingly, no defence lawyer has engaged with the actual evidence presented.
Instead, they are poking holes on technicalities, asking if the witness is qualified to identify faces of people in the videos and also suggesting tempering, saying that the authenticity of these videos isn't proven yet .
Constable Saunder told them he is not qualified to identify faces, but he has been using human observation and his experience doing this job.
Trial continues. Next witness to be called today.

Khanyiso Nkomombili, from Mandela Park in Katlehong, has died after he was allegedly stabbed by his girlfriend over the weekend.
According to reports, Nkomombili had previously told family members that he wanted to end their relationship, which reportedly began in 2023.
It is alleged that he was stabbed while sleeping. Reports reveal, the woman paused stabbing him and asked him if they would continue with their relationship, and when he said no, the woman continued stabbing him.
His family arrived while he was still able to speak, but he later died from his injuries.
The woman is expected to appear in court tomorrow. RIP🙏 🕊

We always blame poverty for criminal behavior but we forget the efforts that the victims are killed making to get out of the very poverty.
The ehailing driver was fighting poverty when he was killed by the four young criminals.
I cant say the same thing about them.
Carel Rothman is coming back for a brief session after the State indicated that his testimony had covered quite a number of aspects they wanted to put on record.
What the state is trying to achieve with his testimony is:
1. Places the accused in one area at most times
2. Shows the groundwork done before the shooting took place.
3. Covers what happened with these cars after the shooting and the places where arrests were made thereafter.
4. Proves that cars were hired specifically for this murder.
This is among the few things his testimony is trying to reveal.
