A reminder - a third of hospitality businesses still not breaking even and half having to cut capacity or reduce hours because of labour shortages means we are leaving £22bn of unearned revenue on the table - with corresponding tax take of £7bn to the Exchequer

Our cities have been hard hit with the loss of commuters, large cultural events and international tourists. We need a concerted plan to drive demand and incentivise investment & best way is to retain the lower rate of VAT at 12.5% to boost productivity and competitiveness

We agree with @UKHospKate, following hundreds of cancellations and a drop in revenue, those in the #hospitality sector need serious Gov support. Extending the #VAT cut beyond 2022 will give all those involved a fighting chance in the year ahead.
