The original Thomas and William Maximoff in comics probably would have Wanda and Vision's powers when they grow up. William was straight up not detected by Strange and Wanda thought she was just having one kid. And Thomas became a mage in some future timelines.

Can someone explain why Tommy has Vision’s phasing ability in VisionQuest instead of Pietro’s powers? 🤔 Aren’t Billy and Tommy supposed to mirror Wanda and Pietro’s abilities in the comics? Am I missing something?

As for why the reincarnated Tommy/Billy have Pietro/Wanda's powerset instead, probably because Jonas already occupied the role of Vision. I lowkey kinda wish Billy would be named Dane or after a male pagan god, since both boys ended up being named after their paternal side.

To tell a coherent story fitting the current state of MCU. Jim Hammond was an organic synthetic human, not really an AI in comics either. Ultron was made by Tony instead of Hank. How would a comic accurate Jo fit in the current landscape anyway, have her based on Pepper Pots?

Why did Marvel change her entire origin in VisionQuest? So in the comics, Jocasta was created by Ultron to be his bride, with her consciousness based on Janet van Dyne.

A mostly forgotten trivia but comic Jocasta kinda has Janet's lifeforce/soul/whatever you call it transfered to Jocasta in their original story instead of being based on a brainwave copy.(Granted that idea wasn't standarized canon back then for all Ultron family AIs)

Tom King as a writer was just simply incompatible for Wonder Woman as character. Diana is a hero because she's not informed by trauma, she's informed the love she experienced and grew up with on Themyscira and simply not the type of character Tom King wants to write.

After finishing Lanterns show why do I feel like Tom King projects are basically "I hope no one knows too much about this character because I am just projecting/grafting very unrelated few themes to them", it's been a thing since his Vision Series.
