So today a boyhood dream came true, for as long as I can remember I’ve wanted a Porsche 911 & now I am the proud owner of a Guards Red Porsche 911,
I still can’t believe it 🫣 #Porsche911

We appreciate the sentiment.
But how about you just reduce some of the increased tax take you’re receiving on every litre and deliver some meaningful support to the economy you’re strangling with tax?
When fuel prices are high, finding the best deal matters.
That's why we've launched Fuel Finder in @googlemaps, helping you compare prices more easily and find your cheapest local option.

We don’t hate these lying cunts enough
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.
The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.
But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.
That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.
It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.

Buying fuel in the UK is fucking backwards.
For every £1 of your already taxed money you spend on fuel in the UK, roughly 48p goes straight to the government in fuel duty and VAT.
So for every £100 you spend at the pump the government takes around £48 of your already taxed money and you get £52 worth of fuel.
Taxed when you earn it, taxed when you spend it. The UK is a joke.

I've had a sneak peak at the government's new petrol station app, at least it's accurate.

Replying to @andyburnham @wesstreeting
Are you taking the piss? You’re charging 86p in tax on every litre of diesel, that’s about £50 every time I fill up! You’re clearly not cut out to be Prime Minister. Resign.
