La nuova stagione dell'influenza 2026-2027 è alle porte e potrebbe essere caratterizzata da un numero minore di casi ma più gravi. In Australia infatti la stagione è stata leggermente meno pesante dal punto di vista del numero di infezioni rispetto alla stagione precedente, che invece era stata molto aggressiva. Però ci sono stati più ricoverati in ospedale rispetto a quello che era avvenuto l'anno prima. Casi più gravi e impegnativi. E quindi dobbiamo tenere l'attenzione molto alta. I ceppi che hanno circolato nell'altro emisfero sono H3N2 e H1N1 che sono i due classici virus dell'influenza A, mentre ha circolato meno il virus dell’#influenza B. E' possibile pensare, quindi, che anche noi avremo una stagione simile con casi più complicati. Da qui l'importanza della vaccinazione. Io rimango dell'idea che la vaccinazione dovrebbe essere universale, cioè da zero anni a 100 anni. Ma certamente chi non ne può fare a meno sono le persone fragili, sono gli anziani: un over 75 non vaccinato per l'influenza è un delitto per il sistema sanitario. Che fare? Noi continuiamo a ricordare che vaccinarsi è importante ma se la gente non si vuole vaccinare, che dire? Più che dare la vaccinazione gratuita e spiegare i rischi non possiamo fare. Chi non di vaccina e rientra nella categorie a rischio? Peggio per loro!!

E ora, come la mettiamo con il mondo #NoVax? Per cinque anni ci avete raccontato che i #vaccini #Covid a #mRNA provocavano infarti, coaguli, morti improvvise, “turbo tumori”, malattie autoimmuni e praticamente qualsiasi cosa potesse essere attribuita a un vaccino. Lo avete chiamato con disprezzo siero magico sperimentale. La prova? Spesso: “È successo dopo il vaccino”. Un post Facebook. Una testimonianza. Un articolo. Una segnalazione. Peccato che “dopo” non significhi automaticamente “a causa di”. Ora, però, arrivano 4 milioni di giovani analizzati in uno studio pubblicato su Vaccine. E il quadro è decisamente meno compatibile con la narrazione catastrofista che ci avete venduto per anni. Nei 16-25enni, rispetto ai non vaccinati che avevano contratto Covid, i vaccinati non infettati hanno mostrato: ➡️ 85% in meno di rischio di miocardite ➡️ 79% in meno di pericardite ➡️ 72% in meno di mortalità per tutte le cause E il rischio di miocardite dopo infezione nei non vaccinati risultava quasi 5 volte superiore rispetto al gruppo vaccinato e non infettato. Chiariamo una cosa: la miocardite associata alla vaccinazione esiste. È rara, è documentata e va presa sul serio. Ma proprio per questo la discussione dovrebbe basarsi sui rischi relativi e assoluti, non sulla gara a chi trova l’aneddoto più spaventoso. Quindi la domanda è semplice: Dove sono finite tutte le certezze apocalittiche? Perché la scienza non funziona con “me l’ha detto mio cugino o il mio vicino di casa”. Funziona con milioni di persone, dati, confronti e studi. E quando i dati smentiscono la propria narrazione, la risposta scientifica dovrebbe essere una sola: aggiornare le proprie convinzioni. 2008 was an interesting year for vaccines. That's the year the formerly-sealed case of Hannah Poling leaked to the public. (I later reported on the case for CBS News. I'll link to that in this thread.) In Hannahs' case, the govt. (which represents vaccine makers in court, believe it or not) conceded that Hannah's vaccines caused her autism. Mind you, the govt. and head of CDC were denying this in public. We didn't know it at the time, but the govt's own top expert witness in vaccine-autism cases, pediatric neurologist Dr. Andrew Zimmerman, had shocked the govt. by telling them (DOJ lawyers) that vaccines can cause autism, after all. But instead of helping kids and revealing the truth, the DOJ fired Dr. Zimmermand as an expert witness and misrepresented his opinion in court thereafter. Anyhow, the govt. secretly paid the Poling family a multi million dollar settlement, but then had the case sealed so no other parents would find out. Public health officials continued to tell other parents they were imagining things. Meantime, many experts said that separating multi vaccines into individual doses is inherently safer. Some parents were opting to get their kids Measles and Mumps vaccines separately, for example, rather than giving them the combo Measles, Mumps, Rubella shot. How did the maker of MMR, Merck respond? Merck stopped making the individual shots in the U.S. All around 2008.
