"It is a great honor for me to stand before you today, to come to this historical place—this historical place of our political administration where the majority of our leaders converged before we gained our independence. We give glory to God, and we pray to the Almighty Allah to grant our departed leaders forgiveness and eternal peace. My good people of Kaduna, it is good to be back here again. You have listened to many speeches, and I am not going to bore you. I am happy to be here, and I must thank you for participating in the past elections. You gave me the joy of victory when you elected me as president, and I have come again to thank you for that support. I am here to seek your mandate for a second term, to keep our promise of prosperity, continuity, progress, and national development. I hear my opponents talking about hunger and poverty. Who created it? They did! They created the hunger, and they created the poverty. We are the ones working to eradicate it. We pay salaries regularly, our governors are working hard, and I am proud of the developmental strides they are making across their various states. To the children and people of our country, this is a promise of second-term prosperity: you will not regret going to the polls. Do you have your PVC? Show your hands! Keep your hands up! This is not a matter of anger. Neither is this a matter of anger. Our opponents are angry because of their failures. They have nothing to offer you except backpedaling, whereas we bring prosperity, consistency, growth, recovery, and opportunity. I assure you—thank you for this massive turnout. It is a promise: come January 16, 2027, you must go out massively to re-elect me. APC all the way! APC for our governors! APC for our senators! APC for our honorable members of the House of Representatives and all Houses of Assembly! Your prosperity is here. Your future is in your hands, and your fingerprints at the ballot will reflect it. Be careful! Watch them closely! Do not let them lie to you. What is past is the past. The fuel subsidy is firmly behind us. No more corruption! No more falsification of invoices! No more lies! No more fuel smuggling! May you grant me the privilege to promise you once again, there is a firm promise of a better tomorrow. I salute all our governors. Today, across the 36 states, I can witness the developmental strides they are making, including paying salaries regularly. Our party leaders, thank you very much." - Full address by President Tinubu today at the APC presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna. #RenewedHopeInKaduna

“What we have done is to fight for the survival of this nation. So allow me, Your Excellencies, distinguished ladies and gentlemen, to reintroduce ourselves to you, and to show you that you do not have allies as sincere as we are. We have been able to keep this country together and defy the predictions of those who forecasted the implosion of our economy simply because we work together. Almost four years ago, you spoke eloquently, sincerely, boldly, and decisively to elect a change-maker, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We didn't win the 2023 election because we were wise; far from it. We didn't win because we were rich, nor did we win because we were the most educated or the best speakers. We won because you saw the options before you and knew, without a doubt, that the alternative was a calamity. For the good people of Kaduna State, we have seen why you stood tall to renew the mandate of the APC, to give His Excellency, Governor Uba Sani, the mandate to redeem the fortunes of this great state. This wisdom has made Kaduna State a unified place; a place where a man from Zonkwa sees a man from Zaria as a brother. It is a place where the dividends of democracy are felt just as strongly in Kachia as they are in Metropolitan Kaduna. This is the legacy of the APC in Kaduna State, and this is why we have come to ask you to renew the mandate a second time for the APC, from top to bottom. We have the courage to come to Kaduna today because we have kept our promise never to let you down. First and foremost, we promised to restore Kaduna State's glory as the nation's center of learning. Haven't we delivered on that? We brought you the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia, haven't we? We carried forward the transition of the Federal College of Education in Zaria, haven't we? We have established state vocational institutes in Rigachukun, Soba, and Samaru Kataf, producing over 4,000 graduates. To top it all off, we rolled out education funding through NELFUND for hundreds of thousands of students in your universities—haven't we? Truly, the APC is the party to do business with. And for my brothers in the North, I have a simple message for you: we have built a consistent record of completing projects initiated by our predecessors. This is why we have registered substantial progress on the Ajaokuta–Kaduna–Kano gas pipeline, the Kano–Maradi railway, the Lagos–Kano rail corridor, and the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano road. We are also advancing work on the Sokoto–Badagry highway, which will open up a vista of opportunities for agricultural production across this country. Finally, I want us to bear this in mind and look back at the past: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a leader who has fiercely identified with the North over the years." - FULL SPEECH OF VICE PRESIDENT @officialSKSM at the kickoff of the Presidential Campaign earlier today in Kaduna #RenewedHopeInKaduna
