Don’t underestimate the power of prayer. Don’t ask the Almighty for help only as a last resort. He does expect us to make an effort to solve our problems, but He also wants us to call out to Him. He’s always there for us. He loves those who reach out constantly. So keep calling out to Him and don't give up!
Something to think about…

It is with deep sorrow that I share the heartbreaking news of Dr. Tasneem Mahmud's sudden passing. I am struggling to process this loss. She was a vibrant young soul with a promising future ahead.
I fondly recall her as the little girl from 'It's Our Day.' We debuted together on TV! She made it so much easier for me. She was cute, savvy, and so talented! Rereading our conversations, it's hard to accept her departure. Tasneem, know that Allah cherishes you dearly.
Please keep her in your prayers. May Allah grant patience and strength (sabr-e-jamil) to her grieving family and friends. Ameen 🤲

People aged 54 will now automatically receive a bowel cancer screening kit every two years by post when they become eligible.
When you receive your kit, put it by the loo. Don’t put it off.
ALT Illustration of a bowel cancer screening kit and a toilet. The text reads "Put it by the loo. Don't put it off. The NHS bowel cancer screening kit can detect signs of cancer before you notice anything is wrong." The NHS logo is in the top right hand corner.
Feeling an overwhelming sense of unease today, as I witness the distressing events unfolding around us. Innocent lives been taken. Children murdered.I just can’t list it all. I can’t. It hurts. 🌍💔
I pray to Allah, asking for His boundless mercy to embrace our ummah and guide us through these challenging times. 🙏

It’s beautiful that William, Kate, Meghan and Harry are back together again. Seeing new Prince of Wales united with his brother is a great new beginning for him
