Andreas Christopheros opened his front door and a stranger threw a beaker of sulphuric acid in his face. The acid was so strong his shirt dissolved off his body and it burned through the floor of his hallway. His wife burned her own feet trying to drag him to the shower. The man had driven 300 miles for revenge and knocked on the wrong door. Andreas lost an eye and his eyelids. He would later say he'd rather have been shot. December 2014, a quiet street in Cornwall. Andreas was working from home, building a new business. A normal day before Christmas. From his office window he noticed a red van. A few minutes later, someone knocked. His wife ran downstairs and found him screaming. Police later caught the attacker. He had gone to the wrong address. Andreas was never the target. He went through endless skin grafts.
