Raila will still influence the 2027 elections.... Expect political hallucinations, endless “Baba told me this before he died” tales and politicians claiming to have inherited his blessings and dumb voters buying the bullshit.
But that political inheritance has an expiry date.... After 2027, I suspect Raila’s name alone won’t win you even a cattle dip representative’s seat.
My take...

Rigathi Gachagua Yesterday;
Ruto ruthlessly ordered a Ksh9 increase in the price of diesel and a Ksh12 increase in petrol .
EPRA today increased exactly the way Riggy G said.
Who gives this person all these intels ?

EPRA has sharply increased fuel prices for the October 15 to November 14, 2026, period.
— Super petrol up by Sh12.9 to Sh226.9 per litre
— Diesel up by Sh9.9 to Sh226.9 per litre

This is Wicknell Chivayo’s multi-million Mansion, he had several of them but he will now leave them here on earth.
In short, the things of this world remain in this world. When your time comes, you leave everything behind and face your God alone.
The wealth, houses, cars, money and positions of power will all remain behind. One day, even the homes that were once full of life will feel the absence of those who lived there.
What truly matters are our deeds, our humanity, and the lives we touched.
While we are still alive, let us help as many people as we can. Let us love one another, respect one another and never look down on anyone because of worldly wealth or status.
No one goes to heaven with their money, cars, houses or political position. In the end, it is you, your God, and the deeds you did while you were here.
So while we still have time, let us do good.
Serving humanity is serving God.
Reflect on that. 🙏
Happy new month.

As a Kenyan, I distance myself completely from President Ruto’s glowing tribute to Wicknell Chivayo.
Those condolences and that “dear friend” language are his own, not mine, as a Kenyan.
Chivayo had a prior criminal conviction and served an effective three-year prison sentence, while his later dealings in major public contracts repeatedly attracted controversy and scrutiny.
Kenyans are speaking for themselves on social media because public money lost through corruption and rotten procurement is money that never builds schools, hospitals, roads or other services ordinary people desperately need. Some died, because of this corruption.....
So please, Mr President, mourn your friend in your own name. Do not dress personal friendship with powerful businessmen as though the whole country shares the sentiment.

Aliko Dangote may need to understand that Kenya is not a place where court orders are treated as routine African inconveniences whenever they interfere with a major investment.
These are courts that have previously nullified an entire presidential election and ordered the country back to the ballot, so a multibillion shilling refinery facing questions over disputed land will certainly not be treated as too important for judicial scrutiny.
Welcome to Kenya, Mr Dangote.

A rebel is not a person who disagrees with the Government. Political disagreement is not rebellion. Criticism of an administration is not rebellion. Lawful political participation is not rebellion.
It’s a paradox that President William Ruto called former President Uhuru Kenyatta a “rebel leader” the same day Kenyatta accepted the High Court ruling and confirmed he’d hand over Jubilee’s leadership. That’s not rebellion; that’s respect for the rule of law.
When a young Kenyan asks where the jobs are, when a family asks why the cost of living keeps rising, that is not Uhuru speaking. That is Kenyans speaking for themselves.
Spend less time hunting for sponsors of the opposition, Mr. President, and more time serving the citizens who elected you. Kenyans are our sponsors!
Government should govern. Opposition should oppose. Parties should compete. Kenyans should decide.
That is democracy. It is not rebellion.

Money was flown in on 14th and distributed even to the Nyanza regional commander of police.
The sponsoring of violence in Homa Bay was very specific and targeted.
Why is the police not going after the gangs armed with unlicensed firearms, pangas and rungus?
Police network is deeply involved in the support of the violence in Nyanza.

What is happening in Homa Bay is primitivity … In this day & age, organizing goons to disrupt opposition rallies is so stupid & retrogressive. Raila Odinga won’t have done it. We thought Gladys Wanga was a progressive leader. But then, this is Kenya … Political leaders are so short-sighted.
