My Modular Expansion timeline for 2024👇 Q1-Q2: The DA Era: Over the next few months, newer DA projects will go live to mainnet like @AvailProject & @eigen_da after the recent @CelestiaOrg launch. Imo, these will be the most exciting from a integration, announcements, and token launches perspective. While this is ongoing…the next narrative and layer will start gaining mega-traction. Q2-Q3: The VM era. Throughout late Q2 and throughout summer, we will likely see the highly anticipated launches of projects like @movementlabsxyz, @fluentxyz, @PontemNetwork, @fuel_network, @SeiNetwork V2, @initiaFDN (also an L1), and others. These will be huge as the modular narrative grows bigger and people realize the importance of non-EVM based projects. Modularity will be everywhere. Early Q3-Q4: The interop/sequencing era. After the VM era, follows the interop era of potential token launches and mainnet for projects like @union_build, @radius_xyz, @AstriaOrg, @Hyperlane_xyz, @nodekitorg, @EspressoSys and more. This will really bring the entire modular stack together and be an amazing boost in UX and bringing together the fragmented pieces of the modular puzzle. While these dates may not be *exactly* accurate, this is generally how I see the meta shifting over the year of 2024. 2025, you ask? More layers. More optionality for all the above sectors. More killer apps. More blockspace. More modular builders. Modular Expansion. Feeling very bullish 🧱
