Valve is the only thing keeping Epic honest. Those free weekly games only exist because of their hateboner for Steam.
Tim Sweeney is criticizing Valve again over Steam’s requirement for developers to disclose their use of generative AI.
The Epic Games CEO called the policy “abhorrent,” arguing that developers are being forced to make a “political statement” that could be used against them by a “hate mob.”
Sweeney has been criticizing the policy since 2025, previously comparing the disclosure to a “Scarlet Letter” and arguing that AI will eventually be part of almost every game production process.

This is my way to animate really simple and easy, with the traditional animation mindset!
Pokemon gen 5 didn't get more hate than any other gen did, but I think GF started paying attention to the hate at that point, since it was the time corporate social media usage was expanding at its fastest. BW2 had signs of a reverse course, and gen 6 was probly cut early from it

Nintendo is really proud of all their series. It's so sad seeing that, and then seeing how much Sega isn't. Sega acts like they hate everything they've made.
Bit of a double-edged sword. Sega treating Sonic like ass is the reason there are so many Sonic fan projects.
Had too much fun with this one. Toontober days 4-6. Sound fx are from Pixabay. The animation was inspired by Richard William's Globetrotters animations.
This is what ruins big media companies. They luck out with 1 huge IP, and then ditch everything that doesn't meet the same level of success. The LoL fanbase was never gonna latch unto 2XKO, and the fighting gamebase is just not very big. FFS, not everything has to be Spongebob!
