Uncle Eddie says he flipped a $90k Pokémon set everyone hated for $800k in one year:
“The tens for these cards go for $50,000 to $100,000 each. Even when I started, when they were $20,000 each, I was like, ‘I don’t think I can get them all. It’s going to cost me two million bucks.’ So I stepped down.”
“First I chose to buy the set, which was against all the grain at the time. People were just like, ‘Why? That set sucks. No one likes it.’ I like it. So I chose the set, then I chose the grade, and then I started going after them all. I traveled the country and different parts of the world to put this thing together.”
“What it ends up being is every card in the set in the same grade. I put about $90,000 into that complete set, and I just sold this set behind me. I sold it last week for $800,000.”

here’s how I built my 6 figure Pokemon collection
back in 2021 I basically had no money, but I was bullish on Pokemon cards so I started spending all of my money on them
fast forward to 2026 my collection is worth 6 figures, all because I had conviction in Pokemon early
