Bristol Mountain this evening. One of the many beautiful spots in the Finger Lakes. Crisp, cool, and relaxing! The fall season is too short!

FINGER LAKES REFLECTION: Easily my favorite shot of the day as vibrant fall color reflected on calm water in Bristol, New York. I had to wait until just before sunset for the Sun angle to illuminate the hill of foliage just right. It was worth the wait!
Crisp fall morning at Bryncliff. Leaves are changing. 🍂🍂

Partner with Others
As Thomas Jefferson observed, “A candle loses nothing when it lights another candle.”
People with an abundance mindset believe there's always enough to go around. If you have an idea, share it; uoubcan always come up with another one. If you only have one piece of pie, let someone else eat it, you can bake another one.
Partner with another person and five generously, one way or another you're going to her more back that what you gave.
As shared from John C. Maxwell
Do this for yourself.
Stop planning your days.
Plan your week instead.
Daily to-do lists feel productive. They usually just make you reactive. You wake up, scan what’s loudest, and spend the day putting out fires. By Friday you’ve been busy and still feel behind.
A weekly plan flips that.
Once a week (Sunday night or Monday morning, 30–45 minutes) do this:
1. Review last week. What actually moved the needle? What leaked energy?
2. Pick 3 high-impact outcomes for the week. Not 17 tasks. Three results that would make the week a win even if everything else slipped.
3. Block the calendar around those outcomes first. Protect deep-work windows. Theme days if it helps (Maker Tuesday, Meetings Wednesday, Admin Friday).
4. Leave 20–30% of your time empty. Buffer is not laziness. It’s how plans survive contact with reality.
5. Match work to energy. Hard thinking when you’re sharp. Admin when you’re not.
Weekly planning gives you direction. Daily planning gives you traction. Use both. Don’t let the daily list become the strategy.
Most people don’t fail because they lack discipline. They fail because they keep optimizing Tuesday instead of designing the week.
Try it!
It’s easy to notice the quirks, habits, and imperfections of the people around us. But before we become frustrated, it’s worth remembering—we have our own, too.
Leadership, relationships, and teamwork all require patience, grace, and perspective.
The more aware we become of our own imperfections, the more understanding we can offer others.
Give people the same patience you hope they’ll give you.

Some days are steeper that others, but every step still gets you higher. Keep showing up!

Success isn’t built in the spotlight. It’s built in the hours of preparation no one sees.

What am I willing to give up to become better tomorrow?
