🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨
WE HAVE OUR 100TH MEMBER!
Kyle Seager received 97% of 41,500 votes and is now officially the 100th Hall of Pretty Good inductee.
Seager, who was born on November 3rd, 1987, in California, was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 3rd round of the 2009 MLB Draft after a successful college career at UNC, where he was a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award. Seager would have a quick rise through the minor leagues and make his MLB debut on July 6th, 2011. This would jumpstart one of the most consistent and underrated careers in recent memory.
Seager would be a beacon of durability, only heading to the injured list once in his 11-year career. From 2012-2019, Seager always managed to hit at least 20 home runs in a season, a streak that was only stopped by the limited 60-game season in 2020. Had the season been played in full, he was on pace to reach 24 long balls, keeping pace with his consistent production.
Seager was a one-time All-Star and a one-time Gold Glove Award winner. He also received MVP votes in two different seasons (2014 and 2016). One of the most memorable things about Kyle Seager’s career was his notable final season, which saw him set career highs in home runs (35) and RBIs (101). After that power surge in 2021, he decided to hang up the cleats at the age of 33.
Kyle Seager is regarded as one of the best players in Mariners history, having been included on the team’s list of 50 best players to celebrate the Mariners’ 50th anniversary. At the time of his induction, Seager ranks 4th in games played in franchise history, 4th in hits, 4th in home runs, 3rd in doubles, and 4th in RBIs.
Seager grew up a Yankees fan and loved Derek Jeter. While Jeter received 97.75% of the Hall of Fame votes a few years ago, getting 97% of over 40,000 fan votes to become the 100th HoPG inductee sounds pretty good to me.
Congratulations to Mariners legend Kyle Seager!

Not sure there is a more lame segment of baseball fans than the ones who hate seeing players have emotions
Junior Caminero is a damn good baseball player and I’m a fan but his antics are getting tired and only take away from his image.
Just catch the ball and throw it around the infield like a professional.
This isn’t Winter Ball in the DR or the @WBCBaseball where acting the fool is commonplace.

Overall, really disappointed Dan is the only one that is being removed from his role. I was hoping the whole FO was going to get a revamp.
Not sure that the Mariners are a good manger away from competing for a title.

The Seattle Mariners went from a 90 win team that was a few innings away from a World Series berth…
To a team that probably won’t even win 75 games.
What a collapse.

The Mariners are going nowhere this season, thats been made painfully clear. So why not call up Michael Arroyo NOW? He has to be put on the 40 man this winter anyway. Put Taylor Ward on waivers or DFA him, hes been worth literally nothing. Let Arroyo play some RF, LF, 2B and DH
