Seems like a lot of replies are missing the bigger picture here. This AI camera system in the Mersey Tunnels isn't about keeping anyone safe—it's automated revenue generation on a toll road you already pay for!
Drivers will be getting caught out by Ai flagging minor things—like taking off a seatbelt to reach you’re wallet just before the toll, holding your phone in the Q prior to stopping at the toll to pay or holding any drink or food as you pass them.
