Actual definition - its the amount of data that get processed every second!! The higher it is the more data per second - better quality the lower it is the more data gets squashed down and can make the video pixelated!! Very reliant on your internet speeds and pc

so putting it out here first anything past 6000 kbps is TOO much for twitch and will affect you viewers by not lettin some see your stream! the only times you really wanna touch this is if you get a msg on the bottom left of obs saying your encoder is overloaded 1/2

When you set up a media source or a browser source youll be able to see this button or something similar- please click it! Itll save you so many resources when the images or browsers are off!! Otherwise theyre always running in the background even when theyre not seen

Genuine answer cause I cant read tones in msgs: Studio mode is basically a way for you to edit your scene while youre live without your audience seeing it happen (itll be in the big pile of buttons along side your start stream button)

Sites like this pop up every few months, so ignore them. They are used to farm your data by scraping public data. You make an account to take down your info and give them more info to sell. Just ignore these. Any actual sponsor or company are not using these sites to base your prices off of. Any reputable sponsor has tools and contacts to properly contact and communicate with your pricing.

I wanted to bring awareness to something that is affecting you as a streamer and you don't even know: There is a website called the Social DB based out of Toronto, which uses publicly available APIs and information to create a profile of you on their website, which then lists false information regarding your creator rates of pay and the means of contact. This means the website is using your image and likeness to show false affiliation and in all likelihood, they could use you to monetize and you would never even know. What you need to know and how to get it removed πŸ‘‡
