Sounds like they are getting scared! Message from UCP Board of Directors President Rob Smith Good evening, fellow UCP members, Albertans have SPOKEN! And as the governing party, we MUST listen! About two-thirds of Albertans voted in last week's referendum, one of our largest turnouts ever. On Question #10, 3 in 4 Albertans chose our leader Premier Smith's vision: a stronger Alberta within a united Canada. That also means 1 in 4 Albertans, including many UCP members, wanted to open the discussion on independence. They are NOT to be ignored. These are folks who love Alberta, just like the rest of us. Many of them are among our most dedicated volunteers, knocking on doors and making phone calls for UCP candidates in every riding. They are welcome in this party. We need them. But the result is clear, and we must respect it. You've likely heard about a handful of constituency associations asking for a Special General Meeting to request a leadership review. That is their right under our rules, and it has received A LOT of press. Here are the facts. Under our rules, that meeting requires motions from 22 constituency associations. More than 65 constituency associations have instead passed motions supporting Premier Danielle Smith, with more to come before Remembrance Day. That settles it. There will be NO UCP leadership review before our next General Election. Danielle Smith is our leader... today... tomorrow... and the foreseeable future. I am thankful for this. I believe most of you are too. Last Wednesday, Premier Smith asked for our support... and our UNITY as conservatives. We know the alternative. We lived it from 2015 to 2019, under the job-crushing, anti-energy NDP. It was awful. We cannot repeat it. So let's focus on our many areas of agreement. There are far more of those than areas of disagreement. Let's work TOGETHER to win the 32nd Alberta General Election on Monday, October 18th, 2027, with a bigger majority than we have today. Nothing is more important than that. More than 6,000 of you are registered for our AGM at the BMO Centre in Calgary, and we're likely to hit 7,000 by the time we gather starting Friday, November 27th, to debate policy and kick off "Campaign '27". A record 4,600+ members rated all 135 resolutions this year, more than twice as many as ever before. The resolutions going to the floor are now available at ucpagm.ca. If you have questions about where your resolution ranked, reach me at [email protected]. And to the thousands of members who volunteered as scrutineers last week, covering as much as 98% of polling stations: "thank you... from the bottom of my heart". You ensured democracy prevails. It's going to take ALL OF US to win bigger next year. ALL. OF. US!!! UNITED conservatives. Always... Cheers, Rob Smith, President UCP Board of Directors

ALBERTA ALERT 🚨 Prior to the leadership vote I wrote a column referring to Danielle Smith’s floor crossing as the reason she was unsupportable as leader. Specifically that someone who was that disloyal and capable of that level of betrayal of her staff, base, and supporters could not be trusted with power. I repeated the old maxim “fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.” SMITH is now pivoting to the NDP and Liberals. She is all in on the net zero fraud, she denies that she was elected leader by WEXIT, WIPA and APP supporters. She has now PROUDLY announced an expansion of the COVID vax program ignoring the recommendations of the Dr. Gary Davidson COVID TASK FORCE REPORT that she commissioned. 520,000 Albertans representing 56% of the UCP voters in the last election just voted for a binding vote on independence in a non-binding referendum manipulated from start to finish by Smith, The Liberal Party of Canada, paid media, the Unions and the NDP. Smith created a mail in voting process that allowed the Unions and public employees afraid of change to crank out 600,000 mail in votes which will ensure an NDP win in 2027 unless this is addressed. SMITH obviously thinks that she can win over “the new base” that Jason Kenney dreamed of when he was booted from leadership of the UCP. People who care about the future of the UCP as a Conservative Party need to consider whether SMITH remains electable or whether she is the one handing Alberta over to the NDP. Smith has told all of them that Alberta will never become independent as long as she is premier and that unless they are prepared to swallow Smith’s big lie that the UCP has always required loyalty to a united Canada - they should find a new party. SMITH is now unelectable. Please contact your local UCP Constituency Association and respectfully request a leadership review.

Listen up Canada!
++ Canada, It's a Trap! ++ Ursula #vonderLeyen wants to lure Canada into an associate EU membership. Will Mark Carney do right and tell von der Leyen to bugger off? If he won't, then the Canadian people will have to fix it, and maybe a new freedom convoy would then be in order.

How screwed is @ElectionsAB? I applied as a scrutineer for the Flair and Derrick in Turner Valley for the 19th, months ago, took the online training and waited for my assignment. 3 days ago I checked the link I was given and it had me assigned to the Royal Canadian Legion on the 19th, a place that only had advanced voting and no voting on the 19th. 2 phone calls and 3 emails later inquiring why I was assigned to a place that didn't have voting, I was assured it was going to be changed. (as late as last night) Last night at 10PM, after I had gone to bed to get ready for a long day, I received an email simple stating the Flair and Derrick is full of scrutineers and I'm not needed. I doubt the @CBCNews or @ABDanielleSmith would be interested in this but it certainly stinks of corruption by an "independent" wing of the government! @JeffreyRWRath @CoryBMorgan @Raine446655

I trained for almost 20 years as an infantry soldier on that base, doing exactly what the soldiers wbo were killed were doing. What the government is claiming occurred is ludicrous, and the timing of the incident is highly suspect.

For some reason (it didn't turn out the way they wanted it to?) the vote count hasn't moved from 10600 in 3 days now.
Should the Province of Alberta cease to be part of Canada and become an independent state? Important: please like and repost to reach a larger sample size after voting 🗳️

I just voted at the Advanced Poll in Diamond Valley and here are my thoughts! (note, they are not good) 1. The advanced polls in Diamond Valley are held at the, get this, ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION! I wonder if I'm the only one that finds it inappropriate to hold and referendum on whether we stay in Canada or start the process towards a binding referendum to separate from Canada at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION! Scrutineers are told to not wear any politically branded outfits yet there are Canadian flags and Canadian military paraphernalia everywhere. 2, We arrived at 10:20 AM and there were approx. 50 people in line ahead of us. We were told by RO's that they wait was going to be upwards of 1 hour to vote. People in line were saying the line had only moved about 5 places since opening. The RO's were saying that they delay was do to "computer problems". About 30 minutes after we arrived, and showed out ID (only to verify we were at the right polling station, the line had not moved but had now stretched out the door with about another 50 people in line. RO's were encouraging people to come back another time. Most everyone in line behind us decided to leave. 3. There were 4 stations to pick up ballots, split into 2 groups of 2. Each group of 2 stations had a chair for scrutineers. There were ZERO scrutineers on site. I had put in availability in for this site yet the website said all shifts for this location were full. 4. We were able to observe the process of handing out ballots while waiting in line. There was not 1 RO under the age of 70 working there. At each station, there was 1 RO scanning ID's and then folding and handing out ballot #10. The other RO was folding and handing out the other 9 ballots. This person was moving so slow that it was taking them approx. 30 seconds to fold 1 ballot. 5. While we were told the wait was up to an hour, the RO's seemed to be quite proud to tell us that at least we weren't in Okotoks where the wait was over 3 hours. The only thing the computer was being used for was to scan drivers licenses to verify out eligibility to vote. Most people that sat at the RO's desk took 15 minutes to get ID scanned and 10 ballots folded and handed to them. Take from this what you will but I'm willing to bet that they reason the lines were moving slowly was so they could encourage people to come back later, assuming that some wouldn't come back at all. My wife and are are 64 and 63 respectively but I would say the average age of voters at this polling station while were were they were 75 plus. I find it highly suspicious that I had to show my ID twice and scanned once to prove my eligibility but mail in voters could self profess as to their eligibility to vote by simply declaring they are a Canadian Citizen. I'd be interested in others experiences on their voting at advanced polls.
