It's a Winter nakige with a similar vibe and quality to Key's older nakige like Air and Kanon.

"We've finally found the strength to SEEK A WAY OUT of the dark prison we've been trapped in" - Kotaro Uchikoshi @Uchikoshi_Eng on CRASH KEYS, ARGs, Zero Escape, working at @TooKyoGames , movies, coffee, and much more: rpgsite.net/interview/21626-…
Very interesting Uchikoshi interview, though would have been nice if he explained some of these details when he announced the company, rather than leaving everybody confused.

Finished the Haruka true route in KimiNozo (chapter 2). Hurt a lot, I had a great time. Bit afraid of reading the bad ends now, as I can see where they are going, and I don't like it...
Moving on, article from the 02/2003 Dengeki Hime issue.
It's a Sumika heroine introduction, first of several issues presumably introducing all the heroines. This is very close to the VN's release so not much to note here.
Finally, advert from 02/2002 Raspberry issue.
Big advert for the final real release date, shows some CGs but nothing crazy. Also comes with stickers, there's a Kasumi one.
Cover from the 11/2002 issue of Colorful Pure Girl (again).
Now this one is more interesting, especially this cover, what would somebody think seeing Kasumi in a fortified suit with UN on the side? Hard to say.
Kouki interview, huh I knew he mortgaged his house for MLA but he did it for KimiNozo too?
Also Muv-Luv & KimiNozo were planned at the same time, and originally Muv-Luv was meant to come out 4 months after KimiNozo, but they delayed to meet fan expectations.
Interesting page on Valgern-On, and a Meiya fortified suit figure/mecha models.
I guess based on this you could presume that mechs would be important to the story, but maybe would think it's all a Valgern-On tournament or something?
The article does hype the VN up as a title that will "change the history of bishoujo games" which tbh, they were probably correct.
Not too much else in these pages except explaining the links to KimiIta/KimiNozo, also some lowkey Unlimited CGs.
Article from the 09/2002 issue of Colorful Pure Girl.
This came with a trial version of Muv-Luv that shows the first 3% of the VN (I'm sure you can find it online somewhere), so the article is introducing that, explaining the first few hours of the story.
Article from the Dengeki Hime 01/02 Bishoujo Special, released 04/2002
This one introduces the characters and says it's a classic school romance AVG, so not much here.
Though it is funny that the VN was planned to release the same month as the magazine, then got delayed to 2003
Got curious about Muv-Luv's prerelease marketing so decided to do a very non-exhaustive look at it, aka I just looked through all the old eroge magazines I have for Muv-Luv mentions
Mainly I was just interested on if you could piece together the Unlimited twist from them

109. Kaseki no Uta
Certainly unique, especially for the time. I liked it well enough, though the overall plot didn't do that much for me, it had some neat sci-fi concepts, and I enjoyed the atmosphere/isolated mansion setting. Doll tuning scenes did seem unnecessary to me.

MAGES president and CEO Makoto Asada is interested in translating the "Memories Off" remake in English, adding that they make take further steps based on the remake's reception.
As localization costs are expensive and it is a long-running visual novel series, Asada believes the remake would be a good entry point.
They also plan to translate other MAGES titles that they think will be well-received overseas.
On the topic of localization costs, Asada also discussed how expensive it is in particular for adventure games as they have to carefully check whether the nuanced expressions are being properly conveyed. AI translations are still a long way from being practical. For example, he doesn't believe AI can reproduce unique speech patterns and phrasings such as from a character in "STEINS;GATE." It can output something similar, but it won't be able to perfectly replicate the character. Because of that, translations should be done by humans for now.

no mages it's okay, you can just translate them

The team is aware of the interest in the series, but they feel it'd be underwhelming to simply translate the VN after all this time, so they're considering introducing the series with this full remake
