Hello to everyone who became interested in horse racing thanks to *Uma Musume*! 👋😃 Do you realize just how extraordinary it is for a horse to become a "Triple Crown" winner—by capturing the Satsuki Sho, the Japanese Derby, and the Kikuka Sho? In Japan, the following horses have achieved the Triple Crown: St. Lite Shinzan Mr. C.B. Symboli Rudolf Narita Brian Deep Impact Orfevre Contrail Furthermore, all of these horses have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. In contrast, there are several horses that achieved the fillies' Triple Crown but did not receive the honor of Hall of Fame induction. In other words, this goes to show just how highly regarded the Triple Crown for colts is. And for many people who first became interested in horse racing through *Uma Musume*, about 14 hours from now, they may well witness the crowning of a Japanese Triple Crown winner for the very first time. Yes—at 15:40 Japan Standard Time, the Kikuka-sho (Japanese St. Leger) will begin; a race in which a new Triple Crown winner could potentially be crowned! ✨ That horse is none other than Lovcen, wearing saddlecloth number 8! There is little left to say about this horse. He won the Hopeful Stakes late last year, followed by victories in this year’s Satsuki Sho and Japanese Derby, and most recently, he took the Kobe Shimbun Hai—a key prep race for the Kikuka Sho. One concern, however, is that many past Triple Crown winners secured their Satsuki Sho and Japanese Derby victories by wide margins, whereas Lovcen did not. Whether he can dispel that concern this time around is the major point to watch. Aside from him, another horse that catches my eye is number 10, Danon History. After a defeat in a G2 race last November, he took a long break; since his return, however, he has secured overwhelming victories in both of his races. Although neither of those two races were graded stakes, his true potential remains an unknown quantity. Furthermore, he will be ridden by Lemaire, a jockey who excels in long-distance races. Moreover, the Kikuka Sho is often won by lesser-known horses that have come into their own over the summer, so the other contenders should not be underestimated. There could well be a horse among them with the potential of a Super Creek, Mejiro McQueen, or Manhattan Cafe. Sea to Summit—a direct great-grandson of Grass Wonder—might be another example‼️ He is wearing bib number 15☝️ You can watch via the link below.📺️❇️ Those outside the country may need to use a VPN. youtube.com/live/ntLNt4z5Fbo… So, will a Triple Crown winner be crowned tomorrow? And if a Triple Crown winner does emerge, we might just see them face off against Forever Young in the Arima Kinen at the end of the year! Of course, that could also happen if a horse other than Lovcen takes the victory. Tomorrow’s race is a truly pivotal one! Be sure to tune in and follow the action! ✨☝️
