Trump lost the night and still stood taller than the men who beat him. His party took a heavy blow on Tuesday, and he did what few men with that much power ever do: he accepted the result, congratulated his opponents on Fox News, and said he will work with them on immigration. No tantrum, no hiding, no locked door.
Here in the Middle East, we loved every word, because we were raised to believe a real man shakes the hand of the one who beat him and goes back to work. Some will call it weakness. Like it or not, that's your problem.
We stood with him on the good nights. We are not leaving on the hard one.

Luego, entre aplausos, dijo: "¡Podemos convertir ese inshallah en [habla árabe]!"
Los cánticos de "¡Abdul! ¡Abdul!" ya no suenan a celebración política. Suenan a algo ajeno, como si estuviéramos en otro país.
