Can I be vulnerable with you for a moment? You probably have never heard this story about me before...
It's WHY AI Marketing World conference means so much to me and why I want this event to change your life. Because it changed mine.
This conference used to be an entirely different conference, called Video Marketing World. It was started by my now good friend Jeremy Vest who later transferred it to Scott Simson and his wife Camber Packard Simson.
At the time, I was still an employee at a marketing agency. But I was young and hungry.
I first noticed Video Marketing World in 2019. I was incredibly excited about it and saw so many experts that I had listened to podcast interviews and read their books.
I pitched the idea to my boss at the time, and he said yes. He invested in me flying out and going to that conference.
I knew no one. I sat in the back of the room, I took notes, I talked to people, and I left with a few connections.
But it was the ACTION I took from that conference that changed my life...
In 2020, Scott and Camber took VMW online, because of the pandemic. During that time, is when I started to really grow on TikTok to grow my business.
I cold DM'd Scott, telling him I had gone in 2019, shot my shot, and wanted to speak(I had only done small talks before, never a real conference).
He invited me to lead the first-ever TikTok for business panel at Video Marketing World 2021. I took it seriously and delivered.
I was invited back in 2022 as a standalone keynote speaker on TikTok for business. I even won an award for earning my first $1 million from video marketing... all because I took the chance and went to this conference.
4 years later, I continue to grow, I continue to bet on myself, and 2 years ago, Scott, Camber, and I became business partners, and we turned Video Marketing World into AI Marketing World.
From the person sitting in the back of the room by myself, to being an owner of the conference.
All because I took that chance to attend a conference, I made the bet on myself, and never looked back.
