Hey, @dieworkwear - awesome kid Grace already is really proud to have raised $100 to save street kitties like Hazel by selling cool handmade kitty ears at her local park (we’re sure she supports walkable neighborhoods). We’re trying to help make her even prouder! 👇
In case you missed it - & now you can donate to help Grace’s fundraiser!
A week ago a very sick kitty landed on Grace’s porch. Instead of looking the other way, she & her family took the cat in, contacted our Street Kitty Fund for help, & are nursing her through recovery! 1/4
Grace raised $100 & is rightfully feeling very proud. Want to make her feel ever prouder? Donate to our Street Kitty Fund: showyoursoftside.org/donate/ for her! (Pick ‘Street Kitty Fund’ in the dropdown menu & click ‘Dedicate this gift’ to show it was inspired by her!) Or share! 3/4

The secret to happiness? Cats! Owners who spend more time close to their felines have more positive moods, study finds trib.al/0yNRWc2
San Francisco's latest walking tour takes people past cats in windows, and apparently, the demand is enormous.
Nearly 100 people gathered Saturday for a neighborhood “catwalk,” a free afternoon stroll past the homes of local cats, all volunteered by their owners for a moment in the spotlight. The cats, by all accounts booked and busy, had become local celebrities without lifting a paw.
Organizer Lora Lafon told SFGATE the idea began with a Reddit thread inspired by a similar event in Minneapolis. More than 50 households across San Francisco signed up, and interest quickly outgrew what a single afternoon could accommodate.
The inaugural walk was capped at 100 people, leaving another 406 on the waitlist and 388 more expressing interest.
“We're such a big dog city (love dogs too) that it's been really sweet to see how proud the cat owners are when people stop to admire their babies in the window,” Lafon said.
Fortunately for the city's aspiring cat admirers, more walks are in the works, both in San Francisco and potentially across the Bay Area.

I looked them up and they appear to be at the Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) in Tucson, Arizona. If you adopt both of these dogs together — or any animal from this center — I will pay for a month's worth of pet food and help you find a good pair of pants.

In other news, Chonk just snagged himself a lucrative contract (all the smooches he can handle) to model for @MouthnTrousers Studio. Stay tuned for a peek at what all the bougie former street cats will be wearing this year!

If you watch a movie with a cat in it thinking, "If anything happens to that cat, I'm coming for you," we're already friends.
