Today, the #MGISL kicks off. There were days these past few months when I genuinely wasn't sure we'd get here. Uncertainty at every turn. Questions nobody had answers to. Decisions that had to be made with half the information and none of the time. I won't pretend it's been smooth sailing. It hasn't. Some of the ideas we started with are still waiting their turn. Some of what goes live today will need calibration as the season unfolds, and we'll get a few things wrong before we get them right. Be patient with us. We've been building the road while driving on it, and we still are. But through all of it, a handful of people worked on war footing. People who put the collective ahead of their own interests. People who took on work that was never in their job description. Late nights, early mornings, no concept of what is a working day and what isn't, and not once did they ask for credit. You know who you are. Thank you. Truly. The ISL is happening today because you went the extra mile when it would have been so much easier not to. Now it's time for someone else to take over. The players. The coaches. The fans. For too long, Indian football has been talked about in boardrooms. From today, it goes back where it belongs. On the pitch. In the stands. In your living rooms and on your phones. We need you more than ever. Back your club. Fill the stadiums. Watch, shout, argue, celebrate. Tell us what we get wrong. Just don't look away. Godspeed to us all. ⚽🙏 #ISL #IndianFootball
