This is one of the most legendary pictures in the history of Solana and it actually didn’t mark the top for @StonedApeCrew Here is he full history behind it 👇 It all started one week prior to mint, the vibes have been immaculate, as always. We planned our next initiative - IRL challenges. People could participate in fun challenges like calling their grandma and telling her about NFTs and uploading it to Twitter to win whitelist spots. We specifically avoided putting „Get a Stoned Ape tattoo“ on the list. But one guy wanted more. After doing 30 backflips, he decided to get a SAC tattoo. We asked: Are you sure? Do you know that this will stick possibly forever? Yeah absolutely- just make sure to donate some extra to MAPS. For context, we donated 40k$ to the research of MDMA-based therapy. Because of this guy, we actually donated 50k$. Back to the tattoo. One morning, I woke up and saw him texting me. “I did it. On my face.“ I wasn’t sure what to think about it. It was one week after mint. Floor price 3 SOL. Will he ever regret this decision? Why in the face? We even offered laser removal later on. But this guy was proud - proud of the donation- proud of the real symbolic behind his tattoo. Even if tattoos fade, the meaning of positive vibes will live forever 🤌💨
