every third argonauts sale right now is going through at 1.5x floor or more. people are paying up for the ones they actually want.
that鈥檚 a collector market and I think it鈥檚 the most bullish thing in nfts right now!
full breakdown below 馃拃鉀碉笍
floor got shaken out this morning and some people were already calling it over. few hours later argos are back up almost 5% on the day like nothing happened
listings dropped from over 900 to 866 today too. less than 9% of the whole collection is even for sale and that number keeps going down
holders are just not letting go of their argos. back to argo
ack out here building a massive physical piece for marfa and the same guy still keeps redrawing our argos onchain.
we鈥檙e so early on this one
pulled every setRenderer call from the argonauts contract. 13 renderers in 57 days
that's a new version of the art every 4.7 days on average and since late september ack is shipping closer to every 3. once he dropped two in under 12 hours
not a single one on a weekend tho. so enjoy the quiet saturday, come monday your argo might look different again
Argos never stop
saw some takes today about argo lookalikes not working
thing is a copy has to be finished on mint day. it grabs whatever the argos looked like back then and locks it in forever
ack never stops shipping tho. v13 dropped yesterday and changed pieces people were already holding. anything launching this week is copying an argo that doesn't exist anymore
every copy starts a renderer behind and the gap only grows from here
still so early 馃拃
ten days ago @Nxn_nft123 paid 38 eth for argonaut #7920, the only radioactive deep raspberry in the collection. at that point it had zero animation, just a still 1 of 1
this morning ack shipped v13 and gave it its own show. the canvas goes dark, the argo sinks into it and only a hot pink outline keeps glowing around the silhouette, breathing for over a minute
that is what buying a grail from this collection looks like. you pay for what it is and then it keeps becoming more
the void just got its upgrade. ack pushed a new renderer about an hour ago, no post, no warning and 863 void argonauts changed on the spot 馃拃
went through the onchain code to see what every bone type actually does now
quick thread 馃У
radioactive void charcoal
the rarest void there is, 8 pieces in the whole collection across 5 wallets. same star, but here the bones light up toxic green pixel by pixel, the whole skeleton glows and flickers for about a minute and little embers rise off the body, pale at first and then green as they float up. if you own one of these you own the loudest argo on the chain right now
every void has its own timing and its own entry angle for the star, two side by side never fire at the same moment. 51 oarsman's band voids keep their water show from last week and the renderer knows exactly which piece gets what
all of this lives in the contract. we're eight weeks in and the collection keeps getting more fun to hold 馃拃
ossen replied to me last night asking if we could all stop talking about argos so he can keep buying at lower prices 馃槀
not happening ser
looked into who actually sold argos over the last few days
most of the pressure came from two wallets that are now empty. the rest were small holders selling one each into bids
meanwhile some wallets swept 5 to 8 argos each without selling a single one
only around 9% of supply listed. paper hands are out, the people buying this dip aren't leaving 馃拃
argonaut #5332 sold for 2.03 eth on august 26
today it sold for 11 eth
one of only 88 gold argos. with the floor at 0.65 right now that sale cleared almost 17x floor
gold bones are getting priced like grails and i think we鈥檙e still early on that 馃拃
