The film explores what happens in the minutes, hours, and days surrounding a single knife attack, putting viewers in the shoes of a range of individuals who are affected by a stabbing - witnessing the stresses experienced by first responders and medical staff, the pain of the victim’s parents and the consequent anguish of the perpetrator and their family. At a time when government agencies are concerned that the easing of Coronavirus restrictions may initiate a surge in knife crime, this project aims to show young people the potential consequences of using a knife. The immersive nature of the film, which is viewed on VR headsets, allows viewers to feel rather than merely seeing the serious and far-reaching consequences.
