A lot of work went into handling improvements, and car combat. New map section with shortcuts is also pretty cool and reminiscent of od Criterion's work. There will be bugs for sure, but if you can, apply to try it out.
A few weeks ago, we closed the Wreckreation 2 playtest so we could work on what players were telling us.
Today, we’re opening it again.
New Industrial area. Narrower roads, alleyways and shortcuts. AI that can use them. Handling and physics improvements. And a new car.
We think we’ve made it better. Now we get to find out if players agree.

Release is also far off, so anything seen below is PRE ALPHA.
As for "Why sequel and not improve W1?" Publisher cut funds to TFE back in December.
Wreckreation 2 is an open-world arcade racing game where every slam, every shortcut and every takedown can change the outcome.
What makes arcade racing special? For us, it's that feeling of being completely engaged with the road ahead - reading traffic, reacting to rivals, taking risks and making split-second decisions.
