One of the most important factors determining whether a training program will work or not is belief. If you don’t have buy-in, even if the training is perfect, it’s not going to work.

Homework. Quizzes. Tests. High school students face a lot of academic pressure! Research shows exercise is a healthy outlet for children when stressed. Urge your children to take a break from schoolwork by participating in high school sports. #MyReasonWhy myreasonwhy.com?share=eblast…

It's not about impressive workouts. It's about stacking week after week, month after month, of good solid hard work.
Give me months on end of solid consistent work over some lights out workouts, any day.

Endurance is about extension.
We are trying to extend our ability to last at a particular workload.
An 800m runner trying to extend your ability to run 26sec 200m pace or a marathoner trying to go from 20 miles at 5:00 pace to 23 miles. Both are endurance.

2019: 4x800 narrowly misses the podium, 10th place.
2020: 4x800 relay finishes 6th in Ohio. It doesn’t matter, get better. Chop wood. Carry water. – at Solon, OH

Those with a healthy culture in their organization understand accountability is everyone’s job. EveryONE matters and everyTHING matters. When something doesn’t meet expectations, it’s redirected immediately. It’s not calling someone out - it’s calling someone back into alignment.
