Would like to see the reality from the same PoV as these renderings.
To all the people jumping on the @qotsa “if ‘where the goth girls at’ is a real song I’m going to be angry” ship.
It’s a fuckin song title. Wait to hear the song. Is it tongue in cheek? Possibly?

It’s no longer called red zone; the risk is still with the track staff as only they can assess conditions on the ground. Acceptance of them taking that risk is with the management.

Cutting risk to ALARP is working under safeguarded.
In terms of lookout, as far as I understand, there are a number of criteria that need to be met before lookout would be authorised.

Red zone working should never have been banned without replacing it with an LUL type Engineering Hours regime.

There has been a change in competency management with a separate Coss Lookout competency; reflecting the reduction in use of lookout while still maintaining it as a rarely option for access, even if rarely used.

We now begin the next phase of the recovery operation at #Lewes, working alongside our industry partners.
