Been watching Planetes. Its pretty fun but weird to think its from the same guy who made Vinland saga...vinland feels like almost like an epic, and Planetes is really small scale in comparison despite being about space. Its good! Just very different in tone
Finished Obra Dinn! Very cool concept that makes for a real fun game. Complex but never had a moment that made me go "how the fuck would anyone figure this out" (Though I did have to get a few nudges)
Overall a great experience. Highly recommend

Was scheduled a job interview today. I show up. Cant find the company, no one on the street heard about it. Cant contact anyone
After 10 mins I finally get through to the manager who goes "Oh yeah I had something come up so I cant make it. Sorry"
Big problem I have with most LNs is that it feels like they have a start point and a very vague end point and everything else is just sorta made up along the way. Which is probably fine for comedy or episodic mysteries, but anything with an overarching story gets tiring...
Sixth show off the challenge, Sakmichi no Apollon. I liked it! It was a good drama, and I think the theme of jazz as a liberating emotional force for the kids was good. The ending felt a bit abrupt, but not a point where it detracted from the overall enjoyment. Good show!
Why do bash hero parties for kicking out light novel MCs but we never question if the MC has bad vibes? Or if they’re just unpleasant to be around?
