The artwork at our @DudleyGroupNHS #BlackHistoryMonth event was truly powerful & inspirational! Each told a unique story, reflecting what matters most to its creator-their lives, families & lived experiences. A beautiful celebration of identity, heritage and personal stories❤️

Great to visit Ye Olde Foundry in Dudley and meet Rhi, who’s reopened this pub and music venue. Tonight: a JB’s reunion for anyone who remembers the legendary club up the road. Then Halloween night on Saturday 31 October. Support local and pop in.

Over £1 million is coming to the Black Country so GP staff can spot the signs of abuse and refer victims straight to specialist help. Many people already see their GP. Now that appointment can be a route to safety. Need support? 0808 2000 247, free, 24/7. #Dudley

No one should have to risk their health or, in the worst cases, their lives at the hands of cosmetic cowboys. People deserve proper care not to be exploited as a way to make quick money. Our new rules will ensure high-risk procedures are only carried out by properly trained professionals, protect under-18s and hold rogue providers to account.

Dudley businesses should be part of Britain’s defence supply chain. I asked Defence Minister @LukePollard how small firms here, including on the Pensnett estate, can win more defence work. He’s holding a roundtable in Dudley later this year. I want local firms in the room.

Thanks to Karin Smyth, Minister of State for Health, for wishing AHPs a very happy Allied Health Professions day. Allied health professionals, across 14 professions, deliver better patient outcomes and better value for money all over the health and care system.

Today, for #BoneAndJointWeek, we went to Parliament and championed the 20 million people living with an MSK condition. The room was full of brilliant conversations, and it was inspiring to bring so many people together. Thank you to @SoniaKumarMP for sponsoring, and thank you to everyone who attended!

"What are you going to do to help Dudley's high street?" My answer: bring health services into the town centre, set up a task force on crime and antisocial behaviour, and give people more reasons to come into town. Got a question for me? Reply below. #Dudley

70 years ago, Wrens Nest became the first National Nature Reserve recognised for its geology. Yesterday I joined the Friends of Wrens Nest to celebrate, and to mark 20 years of their group. A place of international importance on our doorstep, cared for by brilliant volunteers.

Thank you Richard for to joining the launch for our fantastic candidate Caroline Reid.
Really enjoyed getting out campaigning today! After everything discussed at the conference this week, it was good to get out and talk to people about it. Knocking on doors in Walsall with Valerie Vaz. And helping launch Caroline Reid’s by-election campaign alongside @SoniaKumarMP in Dudley. There’s a genuine feeling of positivity. A sense that things are on the up under the new PM. A busy and very good day!
