30 DAYS TO 100+ SALES: THE START TECH RIGHT EXPERIMENT On August 17, I started an experiment. Then came the technical problems. Students were struggling to receive emails, so I fixed our ZeptoMail setup. Now I can send up to 10,000 emails for about $1. Then the @nombahq payment link gave some people trouble. So I added Selar and direct bank transfer. One door didn’t work? Open another. And that’s the part people don’t see. Running an online business isn’t: Create → post → make money. It’s LMS. Payments. Emails. Onboarding. Customer questions. Fixing things while people are already waiting. I also deliberately didn’t create a landing page. I’d rather someone pays ₦100 and I have their information than pays ₦0 and disappears. Marketing is expensive. Attention is expensive. Trust is expensive. So after two days, I’m not just looking at 23 students. I’m looking at 23 decisions. And all the people who didn’t buy are data too. That’s what I’m really trying to understand: What actually makes people move? We’re at: 23 / 100. The system is working. Now let’s add the lessons and get to work.
