To better understand Bob Uecker’s significance to Brewers baseball, he called both Hank Aaron’s last MLB home run and Jackson Churio’s first.
One of my favorite games I’ve ever attended in person & 26 years later still remember it very well!!
Still crazy that a 1 vs 2 game was at 11AM on ABC as that would NEVER happen today.
26 years ago today: OU beat No. 1 Nebraska in arguably the loudest game ever played at Owen Field.
The Sooners rallied from a 14-0 deficit to win 31-14 and the win ended a Red October run of wins over No. 11 Texas, No. 2 Kansas State and No. 1 Nebraska.
75,989 fans witnessed a game that will forever be part of OU football history. Oranges flying onto the field, fans tearing down the goalposts and a celebration that was years in the making.
Two months later, OU was celebrating its seventh national championship.
This is such a stupid take!!
They have a $50 million dollar roster & spent Millions to get Arch the best WR in the portal, 2 of the best RB’s and have an elite defense w/ an elite pass rusher.
What else can they do? Maybe they need to upgrade at QB bc Arch is just above Avg.

Brewers players honored legendary team play-by-play announcer Bob Uecker during the "Stand Up To Cancer" moment of silence during Game 4 of the World Series 💙
Uecker passed away from cancer in 2025.
He also said after Bedlam in 2001 that he wasn’t going to be the next coach at LSU & OU was where he wanted to be only to leave for SC a couple hours later.
NEW: USC head coach Lincoln Riley on feeling urgency and being mentioned for other jobs:
"If I didn’t want to be at this place, I wouldn’t have come here in the first place. I’ve had plenty of opportunities to leave. This is where I want to be. This is the right place for me. I’m the right person to be here."

This isn’t a horrible movie but Bernie Mac as Stan Ross was not good as Baseball skills were not believable at all!
This is stupid! When I was 14 I stayed home with my brother who was 12 by ourselves and had zero problems. Granted it wasn’t overnight but she says a babysitter stayed with them in the morning & after school.
It just sucks for her they were idiots using a dumb bell for a fort.
Bodycam footage shows Florida deputies arresting a mother at an airport after authorities say she left her four children, ages 9, 11, 12 and 14, home alone while traveling to Las Vegas for work.
Irene Miller, 50, was taken into custody Friday as she stepped off a plane. Two days earlier, one of her children had called 911 after a dumbbell fell on her 9-year-old brother's head.
When deputies arrived at the family's Kissimmee home, they found the children without adult supervision and had the injured boy taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released. Miller now faces four counts of child neglect.

A good portion of the concourse down the third base line at Tropicana Field just broke out a "LET'S GO BREWERS" chant.
