The Met Police weren’t "powerless" when they banned a UKIP march from Tower Hamlets. The Hampshire Constabulary wasn’t "powerless" when they placed a section.34 over Gosport. British police have the power but don’t apply it consistently. That’s two-tier policing.

Zionism is both historic and spiritual; the ancient connection of the Jewish people to the land of Israel and their right to self-determination in their historic homeland. I am British by birth, belonging and love; Jewish by inheritance, memory and faith. Britain is my country. Israel is not a competing loyalty, it is the homeland of the Jewish people to which I am bound by ancestry, memory and identity. For millions of Jews, that is the heart of Zionism. Not supremacy, dispossession or the killing of Palestinians and not a colonial claim to a foreign land but the self-determination of a people with an ancient and continuous connection to it. In practice, it must mean two peoples entitled to self-determination both living in security and freedom with neither people’s future purchased with the lives, rights or humanity of the other. That is why declaring “Zionism is racism” is not merely wrong, it tells most Jews that their understanding of their own history, identity and collective freedom is itself morally suspect. The Greens should ask themselves whom they are trying to please by adopting a slogan that turns Jewish self-determination into a moral stain. If your politics of inclusion requires millions of Jews to renounce a central part of their history and identity before they qualify for your solidarity, it isn’t inclusion. You are telling Jews: you may belong here but only if you disown Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people. That is not anti-racism. It is imposing a political test on Jews that no genuinely progressive movement would dream of imposing on any other minority.

Listen to the women of Piddington. Where are the woke feminists now?

They do this to little girls every single day because men won’t marry an uncut girl. In Somalia, they do it in private homes with no anesthetic. In the US and the UK, it’s done in doctor’s offices with modern pain meds, but that doesn’t make it any less barbarous. This is what feminism was born to fight, but modern liberal feminists turn a blind eye because it goes against their narrative about how white men are the epitome of evil and Islam is a religion of peace. They ignore unimaginable female suffering because the people causing it aren’t the ones their ideology tells them to oppose.

Visiting Piddington was a deeply moving experience. Speaking to the local people whose lives are being turned upside down. Hearing the sense of powerlessness they felt. Just imagine what it would be like to live in a tranquil village of 350 people in Oxfordshire. To turn on the news and learn 1,250 illegal migrant men from countries like Afghanistan and Sudan were about to be dumped into your village. Right beside a children’s recreation area, in which your own children play. Imagine knowing the Home Office felt it necessary to issue such men with leaflets informing them that raping children was illegal in Britain. A mother told me she was taking self-defence classes with her daughter. A father told me his daughter’s childhood was “over”. They’ve sent hundreds of emails to MPs and received no reply. What kind of a government does this to its own people? Please never forget the human cost of the betrayal of the political class. They are ruining lives. And will not stop until they are voted out.

IF we have to issue these to people who illegally break into the country it means we ARE putting women & girls in increased harms way. Facts matter.

Until last week, men over 50 were entitled to a free PSA prostate cancer check. But the government has now decided to withdraw that right. I cannot for the life of me work out what their reasoning might be.

If rape at knifepoint and filming it does not cross the custody threshold, what the hell does? You do not rehabilitate a child by teaching them rape is not serious enough for custody. You embolden them.

lIf you do anything today, watch @MaeveHalligan at the Cambridge Union. I genuinely think this was the first time many people in that room were confronted with the hard reality of the trans debate, rather than the slogans that usually surround it. @BuckAngel was exceptional: calm, articulate, humane. Ultimate respect. And then there was Helen Webberley. I remember once thinking the criticism directed at her by GC women was excessive, especially the claim she was ‘pure evil’. After hearing her speak, I no longer think that. She is totally insincere. I can deal with hard ideologues- they believe they are telling the truth; they are genuine, @HelenWebberley is different. One audience member, a trans-identified male and former patient of hers, stood to speak during points of information. His account of how he had been treated was deeply disturbing. Watch the full debate. It is worth your time.

I am 28 years old, and I have lived my entire life suffocating under the Islamic Republic. I am writing this from the streets of Tehran, nearly a month into a war, and let me tell you a truth that the outside world cannot seem to comprehend: My biggest fear right now is not the missiles. My paralyzing, everyday terror is walking out my front door and hitting an IRGC checkpoint. It is the sickening knot in my stomach when the people I love step outside, knowing they might get dragged away by these monsters. Nothing is, was, or ever will be worse than this regime. You cannot convince me otherwise. I am bleeding myself dry. I spend every ounce of my energy and money fighting this digital blackout, buying VPN after VPN just to force a connection through so I can be the voice of my people. And what do I see when I finally get online? Analysts sitting safely abroad telling us, *"You haven't tried all the paths yet!"* Are you out of your minds? The last "path" we took, over 40,000 of us didn't come home. On that path, a live bullet flew centimeters past my ear and right past the head of the most precious person in my life. I almost lost my best friend forever on that asphalt. What goddamn path is left to take? Why do you trample on the spilled blood of my compatriots? Why do you spend your time fighting Crown Prince @PahlaviReza instead of listening to a crushed, bleeding nation? Last night, I watched his speech. Do you know what I felt? Relief. The profound relief of hearing an honorable man echo the exact pain and demands of his people, with more precision than anyone else. And I felt pride. I felt absolute pride in the truth, structure, and beauty of his words. Do you know how heartbreaking it is that pride is a foreign, alien emotion for an Iranian today? He gave that back to us. We screamed his name with all our might. 40,000 of our fallen heroes signed his leadership with their own blood. Stop fighting our choice. Listen to us.

In the aftermath of the 9/11 Islamist terrorist attacks, my former boss Margaret Thatcher wrote: "We have harboured those who hated us, tolerated those who threatened us and indulged those who weakened us." How right she was, and her words ring true today, especially in the UK.

You've just proved the point. You're saying the jury refused to convict because they approved of the cause. Not because the acts didn't happen. Not because the law wasn't broken. But because they agreed with the politics. That is not justice. That is jury nullification by ideology. British law does not allow private citizens to decide that violence is lawful if they label it "direct action." We do not let people ram vehicles into buildings, swing sledgehammers, or seriously injure police officers because they believe they are preventing a crime somewhere else in the world. If we did, the rule of law would collapse overnight. There is also no finding of "genocide" in UK law that grants vigilante exemptions. Courts do not outsource foreign policy to masked activists with power tools. Elbit UK supplies the British military. That is a fact. Disagree with it all you like – the remedy is Parliament, protest, elections. Not battering rams at 3am. Ask yourself this: if any other group had ram-raided a factory and injured police officers because they believed it was harming their people, would you call that justice or demand prison? Once belief becomes a defence, the law belongs to whoever shouts loudest. And that never ends well – for anyone.

Hollywood speaks when it's fashionable. The United Nations issues statements when it's safe. Greta Thunberg appears when the cause flatters her brand. The "Free Palestine" movement mobilises when Israel can be blamed. But when a clerical regime shoots its own people in the streets, shuts down the internet, and prepares to kill unseen, they vanish. Because condemning Iran would break the script. It would mean admitting that the real oppression isn't Western, and the real victims don't serve the narrative. Their silence tells you everything you need to know about what this activism really is; not moral courage, but ideological theatre. "Greta Thunberg appears when the cause flatters her brand."

Hi Adil, Sharia Law is not social justice, welfare, fairness, charity or cohesion. In fact, it is the opposite. Under Sharia Law, six year old girls get sold off to men old enough to be their grandfathers, then raped and beaten and impregnated. Under Sharia Law, women are banned from speaking, showing their faces, going to school, and going out in public. Under Sharia Law, millions of babies are born with severe congenital defects due to inbreeding and first-cousin marriage. Sharia Law has no place in civilised society. Followers of Sharia Law don’t want to coexist with other populations. They want to overpower and destroy anyone who doesn’t subscribe to their ideology. They don’t respect the laws of other societies or even recognise our right to exist. They would kill all “infidels” in a heartbeat if given the power to. So no, Adil. Sharia Law isn’t any of the things you claim it to be. It is oppressive and immoral and evil. No one who supports the introduction of Sharia Law is a friend of Britain. Frankly, this post alone should be grounds to strip you of that OBE you so proudly flaunt in your display name. Shame on you. Shame.
