‼️For the 4th time, families are facing the cold, the wet, the storms of winter with no decent shelter and absolute dread. All Etemad is striving for is a more weatherproof tent for protection. Please, please can we together make this possible. Every contribution makes a difference 🌍🌎🌏
I feel deeply embarrassed to repeatedly ask for help, but as a mother, my only goal is to protect my little ones.
We live through extreme poverty under a worn-out fabric that fails to shelter us as the night temperatures drop.
I have 7 children, including an 8-month-old infant who feels every chilly breeze.
We urgently need to build a simple tent for $550 before the winter freeze fully sets in.

I don't want to burden anyone, but I beg you: do not pass by my words in silence.
Help us with any small amount, and give my family a chance to survive this reality.

I was sitting safely with my family outside our tent… when suddenly, a bullet struck my leg!
😭 I screamed in pain and went to the hospital in Khan Younis. The doctor told me the injury was moderate, but when he began changing the dressing without anesthesia, I screamed at the top of my lungs from the unbearable pain!
💔 I am now struggling with the pain of this injury and urgently need $300 to buy the necessary treatments, antibiotics, and painkillers, but I cannot afford them on my own.
🙏 Please, don't leave me to face this suffering alone. Help me, even with a small donation, or share my appeal. Your support could help ease my pain.
🇵🇸 $300 could make a huge difference in my recovery.

Alhamdulillah! ❤️🙏 I have finally raised the full amount for our rent, and I’m feeling so relieved and happy that my family and I won’t be forced out of our home.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who helped, contributed, shared my story, and stood by us during this difficult time. Your kindness has given my family safety and peace of mind. I will never forget your support. May God bless you all. ❤️🫂
Good morning, everyone. ❤️
Only two days remain before my rent is due, and I have raised just $180 out of the $700 I need. I still need $520, and if I cannot pay in time, my family and I risk being evicted from the home we live in and left with nowhere to go.
At the same time, my mother is sick and still needs urgent dental treatment, but I haven’t been able to afford it yet. Last night, I couldn’t sleep because I kept worrying about losing our home and seeing my mother suffer without treatment.
I’m asking you from the bottom of my heart: please stand by me and my family. Any amount, no matter how small, would make a difference. If you cannot help financially, please share my appeal so it can reach someone who can.
Please, I’m running out of time, and I don’t know what else to do. Your kindness could help keep a roof over our heads and bring me one step closer to getting my mother the treatment she needs. 🙏💔

Do you remember my brother? He made it. He’s in Ireland now! ❤️🇮🇪🥹
South East Technological University (SETU) said YES, but the visa said NO.
My brother Hazem endured displacement, hunger, and the devastation of genocide, yet still excelled in his high school exams after a two-year delay caused by the genocide.
He earned a scholarship to study in Ireland and spent nearly a year preparing his documents, completing his English requirements, and meeting every criterion. After finally receiving admission, his visa was refused.
After years of effort, sacrifice, and hope, can all of Hazem’s hard work really end with a single visa refusal?

Today, I want to tell you something about what it truly means to live between two completely different worlds. 💔
Here in Switzerland, I wake up every morning thinking about university lectures, projects, assignments, exams, and how I can improve my English so that I can build a better future.
Meanwhile, in Gaza, my mother is struggling with something so simple, yet it has become a distant dream for her: being able to eat without pain.
Another one of her teeth has fallen out.
My mother has been suffering from severe dental problems and pain for months, without being able to receive the treatment she desperately needs.
Sometimes, I sit in a university classroom surrounded by students discussing their careers and professional futures, while my mind is thousands of kilometers away from where I am sitting.
I wonder: Did my mother manage to eat today? Is my injured father feeling any better? Did my younger siblings find enough food?
We all live in the same world, yet our realities could not be more different.
For some people, the future means choosing a career, planning a holiday, or deciding where they want to live.
But for my family, the future sometimes means simply wondering how they will survive another day.
And I find myself trapped between these two worlds.
I want to succeed at university. I want to complete my education, become independent, and be able to provide my family with a better life.
But I also want something much simpler than all of that.
I want my mother to be able to smile without pain. I want my father to recover from his injuries. I want my younger siblings to go to sleep without being hungry.
These are not extraordinary dreams.
They are the most basic rights and necessities that every human being deserves.
Sometimes people tell me, “Focus on your studies and stop worrying so much.”
But how can someone simply stop worrying about the people they love?
How can I sit and study peacefully when I know that my family is fighting every single day just to stay alive?
How can I think about my future when the very people I want to build that future for do not even know whether they will make it through tomorrow?
I am physically here in Switzerland, but a part of me is still trying to survive in Gaza, every single day.
And until my family is safe, that part of me will never truly know peace.
Please, don't forget them. 💔
If you are able to support my family's fundraising campaign or share it with others, it would mean more to us than words could ever express.❤️🙏

Good morning, my dear friends
I woke up today with so many thoughts on my mind, but also with hope in my heart.
Sometimes life doesn't give us the answers we're waiting for, but every new morning is another chance for something beautiful to happen.
I hope today is kind to you, wherever you are in this world. And I hope we all receive a little piece of the happiness we've been waiting for.
Sending you all a big hug and lots of love.

I'm here. I'm still here. I never disappeared. 💔
Yes, I am suffering, just as my people in Gaza are suffering. My heart and mind are still there, with my family and everyone I love.
I used to be constantly active on social media, posting, documenting, and sharing what was happening in Gaza, trying to amplify the voices of those the world refuses to hear.
But my life today is different.
I now carry responsibilities greater than I ever imagined. I am no longer only responsible for trying to help my family survive in Gaza. I am also responsible for completing my education and building a future that might one day allow me to give them a better life.
I am trying to study, to learn in a language that is not my own, and to overcome enormous academic and psychological challenges, while a part of my soul remains trapped in the fear and suffering of Gaza.
I do not have the luxury of giving up. Sometimes I feel that I have no choice but to succeed. Not because I never get tired or never break down, but because I love my family, and I want to see them living a safe and dignified life.
But what hurts me most is that, despite everything I am trying to do, I cannot change the reality they are living through.
What is happening in Gaza is beyond what any human being should have to endure. Sometimes I feel completely helpless in the face of a tragedy I have been unable to stop, a tragedy that even those who have stood beside us have been unable to bring to an end.
And I keep asking myself: Why does all this suffering continue? Why has protecting human life become so complicated? Why do political and personal interests so often seem to matter more than the lives of innocent people?
What breaks my heart the most is not only what is happening in Gaza, but the feeling that humanity itself is losing its place in this world.
I want you to understand one thing:
If I no longer post as often as I used to, it does not mean I have forgotten Gaza, or that I have stopped feeling the suffering of my people.
I am simply trying to survive in a different way.
I am trying to build a future while carrying the responsibility of a family that is still fighting to stay alive.
I am trying to succeed, not only for myself, but for my mother, my father, and my siblings. For the day when I can finally tell them that they no longer have to live in fear of tomorrow.
I have not stopped fighting for my family. The only thing that has changed is that I am now trying to help save them by building a future that might offer them a better life.
So please, do not mistake the silence of someone who has survived for forgetting. Sometimes, the person who has gone quiet is simply trying to save what remains of their own life, and the lives of those they love. 💔

Hello everyone. 💔😭
I am living in constant fear these days because I am at risk of being evicted from my home if I cannot pay the rent. I have very little time left, and I do not have enough money to cover the cost. The thought of losing the only shelter that my family and I have is heartbreaking, and I don’t know what we will do if we are forced to leave.
I am begging you to stand by me during this difficult time. I am only asking for a chance to pay the rent and keep a roof over my family’s heads so we do not end up homeless.
Any help, no matter how small, could make a huge difference for me. If you cannot help financially, please share my post so it can reach people who might be able to stand with me. Please don’t leave me to face this fear alone. 🙏💔

Somebody from Gaza whose campaign I run only received $50 over a 3 week period of daily posting. She was facing enormous hardship.
But over the past 10 hours, she’s gotten $640 in donations.
Sharing this to encourage everyone to not give up. Sometimes nothing will come for days and weeks and then all of a sudden, a big amount ends up coming.
Keep posting everyday. Keep trying. Keep praying. Don’t lose hope.🤍
