I now have opinions on flaked vs ground corn and berry processing when harvesting sorghum for silage. Great thing about attending talks outside my field (in this case Steve Martin's talk on dairy rations).

I just gave my plenary presentation at the global sorghum conference. What a way to spend my 60th birthday! Talking about delivering traits to farmers. Fantastic to highlight the DPI GRDC and UQs deployment of sorghum midge resistance as a case study. @GRDCNorth

I travel a lot and have only been to Lubbock 3 times. So it is curious that I have spent more time sitting in a plane on the tarmac at Lubbock airport waiting for a gate than anywhere else in the world. Glad to be here now

Heading for Lubbock for the global sorghum conference. A great week of sorghum science at one of the homes of sorghum research in the USA. Also honoured to be giving a plenary at the conference on my 60th birthday.
