THE BIG MID SODOR THREAD:
Buckle up Kids, it's a long one.
I've got so many MSR thoughts bouncing around in my noggin if I don't get it out I'm gonna explode.
NOTE: This thread will contain no headcanon. We are sticking exclusively to proven information and educated inferences

MINING: WHAT THE HELL DO THEY HAUL?
The MSR is NOT a slate carrying Railway. Never has been.
Another very common misconception that a lot of fans assume due to the FR/CR connection.
The MSR moves granite, lead, and associated minerals from lead mining (silver, zinc, copper)

COUPLINGS- WHAT'S THE DEAL?
As we all know, the MSR uses the Corris Railway's coupling system. Most noteably that distinctive square bar we see on all the engines.
I see a lot of interpretations of these couplings that tell me that people may not know how this system works.

Hello everyone!
I'm back making videos on my railway modelling!
I will now go by Merseyside modeller, retiring Jayracer11 for the most part.
Please enjoy!

Ik this is a joke post but there are poeple who genuinely believe that Thomas is somehow structural to railway enthusiasm when really its just its own section

this is your semi-frequent reminder to uninstall trainline and buy directly from a train operating company!
Charged £86.10 because @thetrainline falsely flagged my 07:00 train as Cancelled! Boarded the next train in good faith, only to get stung with a full-fare ticket while the app still showed cancelled at 07:44.

#OnThisDay 1976: British Rail launched its new ‘HST’ high-speed train service – the fastest diesel trains in the world. Reporter Lucy Mathen jumped on board for a preview, enjoying a cuppa on the way, and arriving four minutes early into Cardiff.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Americans just can't do tank engines.

Hey, Just to state the Obvious..
There are lots of real preservation and newbuild projects in the USA & UK that need YOUR support.
Please Support them instead! To my knowledge, this 'E2 Trust' is not a 501c3!
A small thread ahead of causes that would love your support!

It's not *quite* the weather for convertibles anymore, but check out this picture of No.2 'Dolgoch' without her cab from Summer 1999!
