Sunrise sky was gorgeous today in Tukwila. I definitely spent most of my @SoundTransit light rail commute staring out the window (more than I usually do) – at Tukwila, WA

Every weekday throughout this crisis, @kcmetrobus and @SoundTransit have provided transportation for an average 130,000 essential daily trips, and ridership continues to increase in recent weeks. Through it all, transit has been there for us. #STBD fal.cn/39aYG

I am pleased to announce that the Seattle area’s @SoundTransit will receive over $166M in federal funds from @USDOT to help keep the transit system open & operational, helping get people to work or make necessary trips. These funds help replace lost fare revenue, very important!

Just want to send some love to the @kcmetrobus and @SoundTransit drivers. I am not riding these days—nowhere to go I can’t get on foot—but I am grateful you are still on the road for people who need to get around. 🙏🏻🚈🚉🚎
