I need to talk about services that I actually like.
@posthog Your interface is like if you hired Montessori kids on acid to construct a Montessori school about doing acid. But it’s terrific software and very useful.
@Cloudflare I don’t understand why you let me use this much stuff for free. It may certainly come back to harm me, but I would let it
@awscloud You are brutalist and powerful like a large older woman
this is what i mean by "community bookmarks"
storyden makes everything everyone shares in the discord searchable and it's super handy because i forget everything
so Revolut is fully down
this happened to Monzo recently and they failed over to their partial standby cloud deployment fairly smoothly
seems like Revolut don’t have a partial standby environment…?

🚨BREAKING: The Alan Turing Institute has developed a proposal to train an open-source British AI base model from scratch and release it as a public good, according to a UK government advisory letter published today.
The model would be UK-governed national infrastructure available to researchers, startups and public services, rather than a proprietary product owned by a single company.
Britain's top science advisers want ministers to consider the proposal and allocate national computing capacity for AI trials. They warn that without urgent action, the UK risks becoming a 'high-value AI customer' rather than a country able to shape the technology.
great way to continue a tuesday
was gonna post a repro but @codesandbox is down
i genuinely think constantly reminding codex of its token budget stresses it out and it writes worse code
most of the code out of it recently is basically minified
and i have to constantly remind it to not write code like a math student
anyone else?
what happened to that crazy web text reflow thing everyone was hyping up for a week a few months ago
