🇷🇺🇺🇦 New Testimony Suggests the Ukraine Conflict Could Have Been Avoided Kyiv missed three opportunities to resolve its differences with Moscow, according to The American Conservative. Two are widely known: the failure to implement the Minsk agreements and the abandonment of the understandings reached in Istanbul. The third episode has only recently come to light. Former Ukrainian MP Vadym Novynskyi told the Strana news outlet that on February 24, 2022, he urged David Arakhamia to contact Moscow and initiate negotiations. The following day, at the request of President Volodymyr Zelensky, Novynskyi says he became involved in organizing the talks and helped arrange the first meeting between the delegations in Gomel, Belarus. According to Novynskyi, Russia's terms included: 🔹Ukraine abandoning its NATO membership ambitions; 🔹adopting a neutral, non-aligned status; 🔹 discussing a special status for Crimea for 30 years without recognizing it as Russian territory; 🔹granting Donbas special status, potentially allowing the region to remain part of Ukraine under a confederal arrangement. The former MP claims that Zelensky initially accepted these proposals and that negotiations continued until the Istanbul talks. Novynskyi attributes the collapse of the diplomatic process to the position taken by Kyiv and the intervention of then-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. #Russia #Ukraine

Remember when I said that Ukrainians need to do more to resist these kidnappings off the streets? I take all of that back. I now realize that one of the reasons why the majority of Ukrainians don’t just rise up and overthrow their government, is they are too scared for very legitmate reasons. They know that their own Nazi government, however unpopular, enjoys the entire might of Western civilization at its back, and covering up its massive crimes. Turns out that this torture house in question was serving as quarters for Unit 3121. Unit 3121, in turn, is a component of the 52nd International Regiment of Storm Troopers known as NGU Forge. This unit was not made of Ukrainians but foreign mercenaries fighting for Azov. This explains why Budanov panicked and showed up at the scene. These protesters uncovered something very sinister and he did not want it to be made public. That is why Azov is cracking down and making a very public example. These traitors will kill all Ukrainians if necessory.
A third woman has now been thrown behind bars for two months in the case of Azov torture chamber near Kyiv. Valeriia Ladytsia stands accused of — brace yourselves — rocking a National Guard bus. Apparently, in Zelensky’s Ukraine, shaking a bus is a more urgent threat to national security than smashing someone’s skull. You see, the neo-Nazi thugs who beat up a UNIAN journalist and cracked another man’s head open remain mysteriously impossible to locate. This despite AFU officers Karas and Zalizniak openly claiming the attackers were their boys and even describing how their little operation was organized to “suppress unrest on the home front.” But the women who tried to save men beaten and held captive by Azov? Miraculously, the authorities found them in record time. Straight to jail. Finding violent neo-Nazis? Mission impossible. Finding women who dared to stand up to them? Express delivery to a prison cell. Behold Zelensky’s brand of justice: where the bus gets more protection than the human skull. Proudly brought to you by Brussels. Because apparently, European values now come with a complimentary prison sentence.

Europe has lost all and any sympathies of Russians for generations and this will alter the course of European history even more than the war in Ukraine. The way in which the EU elites have managed to shock the Russian population is poorly understood in the West but of monumental importance. Kyoto University Symposium 2026: "Geopolitics in the Time of Monsters" Presentation 8: Alexander Mercouris Alexander Mercouris examines the decline of Europe’s central role in world politics and the dangers of competition among great powers. He argues that China’s rise, Western economic insecurity and Russia’s changing identity are transforming the international system. Drawing on history and visits to Russia, he discusses neutrality, diplomacy and the responsibility to preserve peace. Audience questions challenge his interpretation of European identity, explore American strategy towards Russia and China, and assess sanctions, military doctrine and the idea of civilizational states. Prof. Jeffrey Sachs: "How many wars has China🇨🇳 been in, in the last 40 years? Let me count them…zero. Not one war in 40 years.” The US has been at war and bombing other countries for approximately 229 years out of 250 years of its existence. 92% of the time throughout its existence, the US has been bombing, pillaging, stealing, and invading.
Brandon Weichert: ‘The US🇺🇸 was NOT supposed to be an adventurous IMPERIAL POWER going abroad in search of monsters to destroy.’ ‘The reason I wrote the book is because last year, the Trump administration announced in their National Security Strategy memo and then again in their National Defense Strategy memo: judge us by the wars we don’t fight, not the wars we do fight. That’s what they said. And we were going to be focusing, they said, on the Western Hemisphere. Now, obviously, the Donroe Doctrine is not what I had in mind, but the idea that we were going to be doing Western Hemispheric defence on top of focusing on domestic issues here in the United States, that was what I thought was the Trump agenda, the Trump doctrine, if you will. But then by February 28th, as you know, the whole thing changed. It’s as if the President didn’t even read his National Security Strategy memo. So I felt compelled to write a book that reminded readers why we are not supposed to be this expeditionary, adventurous imperial power, going abroad in search of monsters to destroy, as John Quincy Adams once famously said, and we are supposed to be focused much closer to home. And now it’s a tripolar system internationally, trending multipolar. You could already say it is multipolar, but really there’s three main powers right now that are military and economic, and that’s the United States, China, and Russia. We need to have a better strategy than the one we’ve been using since 1991, because that one was predicated on hegemony. Well, we can’t be a hegemon anymore. We have spheres of influence, and we’re going to need to enforce the spheres of influence. China’s doing that in their part of the world. Russia’s doing that in their part of the world. We haven’t been doing it in our part of the world. And the key thing here is when I say enforce the sphere of influence, it’s not military first. It’s not send CIA paramilitaries to a country we don’t like in Latin America and knock off the country. The whole currency of the realm in 21st century international affairs is geoeconomics. It’s trade. First and foremost, it’s the economy, and so you have to be able to make your first point of contact in terms of foreign policy the economic front. The United States used to be good at this. This was what the founders wanted us to do. I quote George Washington effusively in the book. This goes back to the founding, a commercial republic, and that’s what we need to go back to. And unfortunately, under this President, we’ve lost sight of that completely.’ —@WeTheBrandon, Author of ‘Fortress Americas: A New Monroe Doctrine’ Watch the full interview in the quoted post below 👇

Who benefits from this?
🇪🇺Planes first And then liners and trains Three series of false bomb threats in a week — and the threat of further expansion of the target list. Europe's transport infrastructure has little to envy lately. Moreover, according to journalists, the events of this week are "only a small part of what awaits Europe in the near future". Among the next targets — planes, cruise liners, metro stations and trains. For now this is a threat, not confirmation of attack preparations. But its information objective is quite transparent. The perpetrators seek to shift alarm from airports to all passenger transport. A person can refuse to fly, but completely excluding train stations, trains and metro from daily life is considerably more difficult. 📌The main change — the content of threats. After a series of alarms with no explosive devices found, the senders attempt to convince Europeans that things will be different going forward. Their promise of escalation itself becomes a pressure tool without any new incidents. At the moment, this is about testing European infrastructure for wear, as cheap mass mailings repeatedly require costly responses. If threats spread to trains, metro and maritime transport, the load will far exceed aviation. The main risk lies in accumulated fatigue. Law enforcement officers must maintain equal vigilance at both the first alarm and after dozens of false ones. Otherwise, the habit of messages without consequences could become more dangerous than the letters themselves.

Smoke from the burning tankers has engulfed the skies over the SoH.
